Is anyone else experiencing problems with FXCM at the moment?

We have been trying to withdraw funds from an account with them for nearly two weeks now and just keep getting passed from one person to another, and asked again and again to resend details/withdrawl forms etc. But nothing is being resolved.

The account is fairly large (six figures) and I can't help but wonder if they are having financial problems.

Is anyone else experiencing difficulties with them?

i have also had some bad experiences with FXCM, never will use them as a broker again...

You Guys are just cynical..when every body runs away...you should be the one..who should stick with these folks...you will be less cheated

FXCM has improved much much better...the micorlot account is a God Send for long term traders and even more folks from HKG and China trade a lot with them...The spreads are lower than most brokers here and swap rates...mmmm...its just great...Its regulated and has more than 100 mil to show...which broker has that accept few....

Yeah you guys better go to fxopen or NF and get cheated there...


well anyway..fxcm or no fxcm...90% of us will anyway loose

Has been holding both long & short positions on EUR/JPY for many months. Getting paid about 1.5pip per day on long and charged about 2pip per day on short. Happily holding. Almost forgot to mention, good interest on unused capital flows in as usual. It amazes me how apples can be that different out there.

This is what they do. They do it well and with great skill. Bonnie and Clyde had fans too.

If anyone has ever signed an arbitration agreement with a broker and then had to use arbitration
as a means to settle a legal dispute, you already know that there is no light at the
end of the tunnel with an arbitration board. It may be wise to consider if arbitration
is actually in the best interest of the client (hint: it's not).

BTW: did I mention they can still kiss my ass ?

I may misunderstand you, but you seem to imply that FXCM lies to people,
or, atleast doesn't tell the truth. I myself have no knowledge of FXCM lying.

I'm only aware that they steal from you.

If they are lying as well, it may go along way to explain why when one asks FXCM:

Did you steal my money ? they say,"...NO..."

hmmmm, it's all becoming a bit more clear now.

FXDD is charging negative swaps from both long and short side on EURUSD and USDCHF ! I contacted their support and they said it's only bank that decide the rollover rates , I don't believe a single word they told me. Grrr
When we will see a positive swaps for both side ?? I think you know the answer

Well it's going to cost £50.00 (yes, that's 50 GBP) for 1 standard EUR/USD lot long at rollover today and a mere £8.30 for a short. Kicking me in the butt both ways.

IBFX has also adjusted their swaps. All brokers and banks are being charged and these charges are just being passed down to us.

If we continue to see large swings in these markets, you will most likely see brokers increase their margin requirements. 50:1 probably will become a market maximum eventually anyway once regulation is continued to be passed in FOREX markets.

Skyline, all banks have increased their roll rates on most pairs to cover their risk in carrying your trade over... this was passed down to all brokers and then your broker chooses whether or not pass that down to you(if they aren't, then they are paying your trade out of pocket... which if your broker is doing that and taking on un-needed risk, then I'd probably stay away from that broker anyway).
