There were some aggressive market sell around key level but the price didn't close lower. In theory the price will go up. But nowadays we have other wild variables like war and Trump's, so let's see

For me , this is a decision zone for both buyers and sellers , personally it should have at least hit 4020 again , now only thing i can do is to wait for monday opening with my positon being still open

my take on this is the following. and i can be wrong of course. trump wouldn’t want to lose them badly and that dragging war and rising fuel prices make it more likely. if he does lose the lower chamber there is an opening for democrats for more pressure on funding the war and more importantly — impeachment activity which will keep him busy with this and not the war. if he loses the senate too (less likely) all this will just become another dysfunctional presidency — he will be fighting the congress for the next two years that left in his term. no time for fighting the war. iranian folks understand all that very clearly too.

Thanx. He gained his votes by saying no to war. In charge he went full in war mode. He should be punished for lying to usa people.

From my perspective, I’m still leaning bearish in the short term, but Monday’s open will depend heavily on geopolitical headlines.
Technically, gold is showing signs of weakening after failing to sustain higher levels, with sellers defending resistance and momentum fading. Unless buyers reclaim those key resistance zones, I still prefer selling rallies rather than chasing buys.
The main risk to this bearish view is the Middle East. Iran’s new Supreme Leader has publicly vowed revenge for the killing of his predecessor, and tensions remain elevated. If there is any major military escalation or surprise headlines over the weekend, gold could gap higher at Monday’s open because investors typically move into safe-haven assets during periods of uncertainty. So my plan is simple:

  1. If there are no major geopolitical developments, I remain bearish based on the current technical structure.
  2. If significant war-related news breaks over the weekend, I’ll wait for the market to react before entering, because fundamentals can easily override technical analysis.

That’s why I’m cautious with shorts into the weekend. The technicals favor downside, but geopolitical risk is the wildcard.
