check 4030 area ok... probably a position as well to BUY

I feel like an idiot today. Unhedged around 4030 and closed manually when I thought my equity was +2%. Turned out I was wrong and my equity target number was different and closed with +0.3% instead of 2% Of course I was with client so distracted and completely forgot that equity protector works in the background. Gosh... can't wait for August when my working hours are changing and I will finish work a few minutes before NY open.

I practiced for a bit, but damn I am lossing all the time. I always get trapped into a huge drawdown, like my account at 1000$ and then i have like 1 position -280 or something like that, and i cant even recover from that

no, I didn't loose anything. I finished with +0.3% instead +2% because of my distraction I had completely different target number in my head than I should. Off to tomorrow

Why ? where is your hedge then? Even if you unhedge you don't leave it like that. If the price doesn't go where you thought, just hedge back again to have same amount of contracts for buy and sell. And use only 0.01 with that account size.

Yes it demo, Forex Tester online. It goes good and then all of a sudden I get into that huge drawdown. Okay next time I come across the huge drawdown Ill send you a pic.

show me position so i can guide you, be active here in our thread brother. actually many has started with us, but I dont hear much for them now, onlky me mystic and nikita left. i dont know if other still doing hedging, I know this past few months retracement wont come on the daily, but there is also second option in which i teach as well right, swing hedge. me, i have open position from last month, and i am trying to finishing up, if cannot at least i squeeze.

and nikita is right, lets say you anticipate that a price will reverse, unhedge in those, if your wrong, hedge it back, dont put immediately order at bottom, wait it out if your analisys is correct, if it does, go place another opposite trade at bottom, if not, rehedge. its very simple brother.

actually bot would close with my target profit I closed all manually like and idiot as I was looking at the equity thinking… “why the hell the bot is not closing? My target is reached!” So I closed manually and then realised I was wrong and the bot right the price was still going down and one minute later the bot would close all with my target

Yes i get that, but whne I am wrong like 4 times where the price will go, everytime I unhedge i lose another 20$ before I hedge it back again, and then that huge drawdown happens. I will send you yes. But once I come accross it again.

so it means you need to practise squezzing part. this is the one you miss.

on squezzing

let say the BUY is the one winning, try to double on that order
you will have 2 BUY 1 Sell, the sell drawdown, will compensate and add more into you wallet, and if failed or momentum change, cut the Green BUY and leave the original BUY and Sell in which you are full hedge. Practise the squeezing more. maybe this is the are for you

try this technique..


place first BUY and Sell same lot at any price...
if you see whoever wins on that order, add another on that side,

if 2 Green is Larger than the Red ones, cut all 3.
redo again and repeat. this is squezzing.

actually you can use hedge as your primary indicator as price itself will tell you if your right or wrong.

have you heard about stochastic divergence and RSI? I use both on 3min time frame to get a confirmation if it reverses.
As I see divergence (marked with red lines) I am waiting for heiken ashi confirmation or pin wick meaning sellers are winning. Blue arrow was my place to unhedge and sell, and red arrow where ended all positions (bot would close lower). If I see only overbought on RSI but no divergence on stochastic then I don’t unhedge.

who took BUY around 4030... Gold is flying lets goo... 4060, 4090, 4120.. these are the targets. probably 4060 I will rehedge again before warsh talks
