Exactly. 98% of no rate change. Choppy sideways with no clear direction. It can be long weeks until a clear path to take. Inflation isn´t tamed yet. Trump pressures for rate cuts but most of the fed chairs remain hawkish or at least cautious. I don´t bet for longs. Doing some scalping here for now.

Qn for anyone here who trades with large capital.

What technique do you use to build a heavy position when you are sure of the direction, but unsure if price has peaked/bottomed... is something like DCA effective?

I don't think fed decision will change the current mood. Gold will continue to trade with no big direction at least until another driver kicks in. FED will keep rates unchanged for now.

i expect the next 4 weeks to be choppy and a little bullish then it might drop again bigtime then a rally

Question is not the rate change it’s obviously no change and already priced in but now the question is for how long till we start cut and if by any chance the new CHAIRMAN choose hawkish tone for which he is know you can see some good action in upcoming weeks

Was just catching a good position on buys with london window breakout price, and volume average, 1h not closing above 4331 i have not great faith...
Beside that 1h didn't had close below 4323.83 1h support that i talk yesterday...
Don't see 1h shift without close below and better a clean one....

4H bearish untill regain 4334.285, not a clean one but bearish, most likely validate lower prices closing below 4323.83, to potential targeting a minimum of 4289.5...

Good Morning Fellow Traders!

H4 flipped Bearish yesterday, slow grind, gap to fill.

Still short, targetting 4288, 4241, 4222. We'll see what happens, wide stop on this above the recent highs, XAU is waiting for an macro trigger and today could be the day, what with FOMC and all. H4 success probability backtest 80% (PSAR 0.03) but this could be the 20% that doesn't succeed, as well.

That being said if it breaks above the highs (4352+) I shall flip bullish for the day. Who is to say. Scalping a bit in the meantime.

Also, short $BTC target $63900.
