BTC heading sub 50K levels ?

Declining channel is intact since October 2025, and price is respecting its boundaries by taking support & resistance form the lower & upper boundaries of the channel, as pointed by green and red arrow.

For the period of 4 months price consolidated near its support level of 62,300 and had showed multiple bounces in the upper direction, which couldn't sustain, now price is at an crucial point where, it's threatening the long standing support level so 60,000.

It 60k is out then consider a quick down-move, following to that subsequent bearish moves can test the levels below 50,000 as per the structure of channel intact.

Strict Risk management should be applied and Position should be sized according to individuals risk appetite.

You seem to be on many threads I visit.
Welcome to this thread and thanks for your input on this.
Your chart is saying that we are in a down thrust and that retracements will be feeble at best.

This is the very reason threads like this exist.
All traders have their analysis and their methodology.
But a contrary post coming in forces us to assess our strategy/plan.
We might be able to wave off the contrary post and that is a good thing.
Means we are solid in our own thinking.
I will change my mind though if the contrary post chimes with my knowledge and follow not just because it is contrary.

Hi all,
Today is a big day in the markets.
It might not amount to anything but it might as well.
It is an opportunity for big players to set things up in their favour.
Expect volatility. Near stops could be hit because of that.
The direction the markets take after this release can affect the markets into next week.

By the way, recently the markets have been about the perception about inflation.
If inflation will rise (mainly because of crude oil) the interest rates in the US could rise as well which is not good for everything really (risk off)

Inflation has been rising but the published figures do not fully show that in all its glory.
I know that because I have just come back from the supermarket.
The effect of higher crude oil prices (US war with Iran) can only worsen this observation.

The long and short of this 'rant' is this:
Trade more carefully, perhaps not the full load each time, use sensible stops and targets.
This heightened time will pass.

Absolutely! I'm really happy with this thread You have no idea how much I've already progressed and learned by reading your posts, it's crazy.
Yes, I understand. I don't change my mind based on posts, but it helps to see things differently and invalidate setups based on things we hadn't considered, or to implement conditions in our setup. And also, and most importantly, to look at the market from an unfamiliar angle. For example, I tend to stretch my chart too much vertically, and in this case, the channel he highlighted had never jumped out at me before. This allows you to realize your reading errors and bad habits.

The structure has broken to the downside.
If price can cement existing below the 61.2k low then it will look like that was all the retracement or the ones we get will be feeble till we get to 60k and under
The market will tell

Bitcoin has taken the 60k handle.
Closing all now and going off into the weekend
There is a likelyhood that it could go lower still

Allowing for more downside targets because the 60k handle has been touched
This is not to say it will get there or go straight there.
When we get the bottom though, this will be a great buy for a long time imo

The flagpole target is pointing at 40k area as well!

Bitcoin has hit 60k even and is bouncing off the area.
This weekend could bring us the much talked about retracement.
