Hi all,
I am a bear looking for the 60k area. So this post is with bear tints.
Find uploaded a possibility based on EW (my interpretation).
I have marked a completed 5 wave move down from the highs around 81k.
Usually after a 5 wave move down there will be a 3 wave move in the opposite direction that could go 50% or 61.8% fib area as shown.
This is the 78k max area.
Price taking out 80k area means all the downmove has been a retracement and then we need to be looking at 100k+
The one thing that can scupper this idea is if the 5 low (72.4k) on the chart is not really the low.
But bitcoin is really due a tradable bounce.
Price over the weekend has tested 74.2k area and retreated.
I will be buying as close as possible to this low trying this idea out.

Hello everyone, I'm new here.
I'm in Prop Firm and I'm currently in the testing phase.
I think we're in a bearish market and the BTC market is going to drop to 70k. That's what I think.
I'd like to know your opinion.

I have a funded prop account as well. How are you finding the testing phase?
In answer to your question I am bearish Bitcoin and ETH but mulling over the possibility that the journey to 60k could be via 78k - price at 73.5k right now
Other traders on this thread have different opinions and that is why this thread is interesting.

For me, the testing phase is complicated. I started with a small 5k account with a target of 5,600. I'm trading 0.7 BTC lots. I'm currently at 5,050, I dropped to 4,800, then climbed to my high of 5,150, so I'm trying to learn from my mistakes (should I keep a trading journal?).
I'd like to take a short vacation in August, lol. Keep in mind that I'm in school all year except for those months.

Getting back to the market, it's interesting to see the charts and other people's opinions.
Are you independent?

Have you passed the testing phase? Anyway, we'll see how the market reacts tomorrow.

For a 5k account trading 0.7 BTC size is perhaps too much risk.
This instrument can move 1000 $ in a blink.
Too tight a stop will almost get you stopped out consistently.
Of course with the most careful trade placement you could get away with it.
But this is a rarity, liquidity sweeps can be as much as a $300 move

This idea is not playing out as expected.
I was expecting a slow creep downwards first before buying for the 78k area but this market appears to be moving downwards impulsively.
We haven't taken out the lows yet as shown on the chart but the whole market so far is in 'risk on' mode.
So why is bitcoin diving?
Price is only about 400 points from the lows right now.

Market has sliced through the lows.
So the idea is wrong
ETH is dying as well but still above its recent lows

Hi Olu, I made a mistake, I put a lot of 0.07, I forgot a 0, sorry. I'm taking free trades during the BTC drop. I think, in my opinion, there will be a reaction from buyers around 70500 or 70k.

Thanks for the correction. Indeed 0.7 lots is 10x 0.07. That is fine I think. Much lower risk
As per your strategy, do you. Everyone on this thread trade their own money and do their own trades. We just exchange ideas.
