I trade NQ/MNQ a bit, but don't know how the DOM or Footprints would work with it considering it will routinely do one hundred to multiple hundreds of ticks liquidity grabs/stop runs up and right back down (or vice-versa) like just another day at the office. Curious for your thoughts on PRACTICAL usage of the DOM/Footprints with NQ.

Also, with BTC, I had a traded/scalped the MBT futures for a bit thinking I sort of had it figured out -- until a hellacious losing streak. Curious to know which trading instrument version of BTC you actually trade, which trading platform you access the DOM/Footprints from, and what -- specifically -- you are looking to see on the DOM/ Footprint tells you it's time to pull the trigger (from the zone of prior interest). (?) Thx.

for btc i mainly trade btcusdt on binance or bybit datafeed. Platfrom is my companies platform which is not public at this point but it will be free soon. It has a public account which can be used but i am unsure if i can state the name of the website here. The DOM is mainly used for detecting absorption, we are trading bitcoin and people are heavily adding fake orders and create noise in the DOM so its not 100% trustworthy all the time. Spoofing is way easier on btc than on NQ/MNQ

The footprint is used to detect actuall changes, mainly the delta is needed here, stops above or below recent delta spikes but its important to keep them low, we are scalping.
