As for BTC, could bounce at this spot I pointed to earlier, but could also seeing it blow right past that.

i would like to say long at 76000 tp at 77400 sl 75685 but with the different area and the day we had in addition to fatigue, i didn't take it, done for the day.

Yeah this time of day not usually a good time to enter a trade either.

Not too many serious reversals happen between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM EST during the week

And i could be mistaken, but i don't think there's ever been a long term low or high in BTC on a Saturday!

You don't get much action between when the US stock market closes and Asia market opens. CME bitcoin futures close for an hour during week one hour after US stock market closes.

It usually.....usually....pretty slow during that period and probably not going to see too many strong tops or bottoms during it.

BUT....sometimes there is crazy shit that happens with crypto in that period. Case in point, October 10, 2025.

Btc was cascading lower all day, and right when CME closed for the hour the fucker sank like a rock in the water. I was trading with Coinbase futures at the time and was short BTC. Coinbase futures also had a 1 hour maintenance close down at same time as CME.

So I close the short 1 minute before Coinbase closed for an hour, but I didn't want to! But I also didn't want to be locked out of a crazy looking market.

I was so pissed watching Btc drop after that. The move was huge and would have hit the target i had all day. But even if I didn't close 1 minute before Cojnbase closed, the TP wouldn't have been filled because Coinbase was closed!

I also thought about how fucked those trader were that were leveraged long. They can't even get liquidated until their broker opens! They could end up legally owing money to their broker if their account went negative!

That's what scares me about brokers that close, even if its just for 1 hour! We are trading very volatile asset. Don't want to be locked out while market is moving!

Same day I heard about a trader on Hyperliquid that made 100 million dollars shorting BTC that day. I said good for that motherfucker, and what is Hyperliquid??

Probably sound like a paid shill for them, but what can I say, best broker ever.

No bullshit price manipulation
High leverage available
Competitive fees
And a big one here....if you were on the wrong side of a insane move and lost more than you have in the account, there ain't shit they can do about it. They have a fund they keep as insurance for such a scenario, but you as a trader don't have that risk. Last thing any trader needs is to lose their ass AND owe the broker money!

Meanwhile Im shorting Hyperliquid coin

Its at the 2 level, which is equal to what I risked for this "scalp".

Probably getting greedy again, but Btc doesn't look done with selloff yet and neither does HYPE chart.

And the thing with major lows/high on a Saturday being unlikely (if ever?) is that market didn't get a chance to test the CME boys at the level it reversed at. What fun is that? Gotta test them boys too!

So i think they will be tested soon.

Interesting thing is that in just a few more days CME bitcoin futures are going to "24/7" access. Not really. They say that, but there will still be a 2 hour maintenance window on weekend and 2 minute window on weekdays.

Yes, that seems logical indeed; those who move the market are not present.
Too bad about this move, but you did the right thing; security pays off in the long run, and you would have thanked yourself if it had been the other way around.

Yes, I know Hyperliquid and used to use it too before switching to Prop Firm, it was really good! Their airdrop was monstrous.

Zappa im trying the inverted chart the last few day and i noticed that, interesting resemblance.
and just imagine if the move are equal(I don't believe it at all, but in a world without limits)
edit: In a normal chart, I have a little more trouble seeing it.

Yep, its weird how our eyes can see the same chart differently when inverting it. I do it a lot. Gotta be careful to make sure I am putting in right buy/sell order in when I place trade

You are correct Zappa. The Saturday low is near enough. Just about 1000$ away.
I abandoned trading this because just didn't know where to put my stop after I closed my trade with the best well placed stop.
I nipped into the Nasdaq instead
Bitcoin trend is down imo but we can have tradable spikes before we get to the low 60k area. (or not) but right now I am more for selling

I'm just waiting on next big sell-off to TP on this HYPE short. Could be big move south in crypto, but be careful because could reverse quickly after that
