I think it's a perfect day to push the price as high as possible before gap being filled.

Better entries possible than on a normal day

The gap is actually a trap, too many limit buy. The price should move to 4620-4640 first and then take lower liquidity. Maybe not today but tomorrow the gap will be filled. I wouldnt take any short or long positions right now to see some confirmation.

But people here talk about gap filled but be aware wich broker you are using to see that...
They all print diferent lows...
I never follow only one broker because of this example...
Price have the same reasons to go higher than have to go lower, it remains two opening ranges unmitigated, so coin flip....
Still following my plan, no levels taped that i have limits, no trade...

EDIT: But i am feeling they will eventually go to 4600 zone... Is just that... But no trade.

I am waiting for gold to take the 4621 resistance if not today, tomorrow morning. Put in mind the gold to silver ratio now around 58 i am expecting it at 45 maybe lower in 60-120 days and this is another big story.

it's last week.., and now future MPP/Classic at 4596.90 (!).., and DeMark's one at 4561.40
our WPPs at 4501 & 4517
so imo we can start and end with 4550th..,

I understand your point about spreads and price movement, but for someone beginning with Gold, this kind of movement is often considered cleaner because there’s less manipulation and lower institutional activity. Yes, there may still be pending orders, but with lower volume, they’re less likely to be aggressively activated during the day. So I don’t see why people avoid trading on off-bank days when, at the end of the day, we’re all still retailers trading the same market.

There are also different kinds of strategies. Personally, I trade supply and demand, but on days like today, I switch more toward simple support and resistance because market algorithms react heavily around those levels. Trading isn’t always about holding positions long term, either some traders manage risk on small pip movements. As my mentor says, 100 pips a day is enough.

You also mentioned psychology, and that’s exactly what helps someone who has traded Gold for years. Anyway, I already achieved 2x my daily target because the market respected the levels smoothly today.

Today is holiday all over, except in Canada presumably.
However, Asia has given us a hi of 4580 while London has also posted 4577.
NY so far has managed 4571.
Isn't this saying something about bagging some more points today?
