gold is stuck in a range on m30 h1.. so prob a catalyst to shift it..

Whatever moves after this 4500, the first move will be fake breakout. The real moves will come. It have chance to retest 4580 first.

if you want to know the answer then
follow these steps
not bactesting first
see in past data on printed data your setup
is it forming frequently ?
if yes make rules as much simple as possible
next bactest (not blindly but as per your rules)
if you have ss of your trades both sl and wins go back see them
what was right and wrong their
see inside yourself reflect yourself what are your habits
then forward tests for week 2 or month
depending on when you gain confidence back
then start with small funded account
to make yourself more discipline rather than live
that will trigger you more

you yourself inside you know what are you doing
you just not taking it seriously or not realizing enough

XAUUSD has higher volatility and imo a higher manipulation. personally for me, at times xauusd goes without a proper pullback at times, compared to other fx pairs. it's just my opinion. you can maybe just apply your strategy to GU or EU and see how it does. I used to like jay pairs as well but nowadays it has very ugly spikes at times

I am very bearish on gold but I agree with this take. There’s also a gap on the daily which in my view will act as a magnet. But overall net delta is still very much high (-756k) which tells me that majority of those that shorted from 4700 haven’t taken profits yet, leading me to believe that we’re going lower. The question is when…

seems to be accumulation happening at the moment.. 3-4 hours we are around the same range up and down..

If it doesn´t break the channel in the next few minutes I will close it.
