Yesterday Price Action From Asia ~ New York. Yesterday Asia failed Lower and Continue until near London Close. Once New York Last Night is in solo Session, it retrace Back. and so if you have leave your BUYS on Last night, Your Position now should be Greens as well.

Hi, I accidentally came across your thread. Honestly, you only understand how a strategy works when you actually place a trade. I couldn't understand it until I opened a demo account and practiced it. Maybe I'm slow to grasp it, haha.
What I've experienced in the past two weeks:
1. Trading during the Asian Session
Scenario 1: The Asian session ends and my account is profitable because the Asian market is sideways.
Scenario 2: The Asian session ends and my account is in the red because the market only moves in one direction.
2. The New York Session
I see you keep mentioning the timing of entering the market. I've observed that the price always tends to reverse at the time of the New York and London session. It's a time cycle; if the Asian and London sessions fall sharply, it will rebound in the New York session. However, there are days when the market doesn't rebound, and I have to wait until the Asian session the next day. (And I encountered such a day the first time I tried this strategy LOL).
Scenario 1: If the price drops from Asia to London and then rebounds in NY, I will close all profitable sell orders and add one buy order to catch the pullback and fully capitalize on both the downward and upward waves of the day.
Scenario 2: If the price drops from Asia to London or has rebounded in London and continues to drop to NY, I will do nothing and wait.
At first, I didn't understand what I was doing, but my account was still profitable every day. In the early days of practicing, I didn't understand why my account was positive.
However, I have questions about deciding when to hedge if the price moves wrong.
1. Should we hedge based on the H1 candle close, or should we hedge immediately when the price breaks through support/resistance without waiting for the candle close?
2. I usually take profit when I reach 10u and end the Asian session with 4-6 orders. How can I limit myself to only 3 orders?

For your Question.

1. Should we hedge based on the H1 candle close, or should we hedge immediately when the price breaks through support/resistance without waiting for the candle close? this depends, most of the time I use 15m and 30m for Intraday, but sometimes those level is breach and so I need to look to more Higher Timeframe. if it happen like this. when you unhedge and it does breack the level, no need to think just rehedge it back.

2. I usually take profit when I reach 10u and end the Asian session with 4-6 orders. How can I limit myself to only 3 orders?
the only way for you to limit your Hedge is for your discipline. right now even how long the price move, I only have 4 hedge fully on my account. this is the only thing. always try to distribute your hedge. in hedging there is a point when you cannot get anymore green, as you always keep getting it, what I do on those timem is I just wait even for how long. its either the price will make my buy Green or Sell Green or BE. thats the only thing I am doing. if the price didint go on my exact price, what I do is the squezzing method

Can you please show me your chart along with your existing position. so I can make an advice on what you need to do if the price reach on certain levels.

price reach 4620. right now I wont do anything on my position and keenly watch this level and 4550.

for long term, I think Gold is really Targeting 4200. I guess this is the real target for the BULLS for them to buy bigtime. for the past few weeks price stall at 4700. price sits on that level doing nothing.

seems 4550 indeed. we allow the price to reach that level. then If it weaken on that level, I will squezze my position once again.
check 4620, probably a good place to reverse as well.
