What a move today in bitcoin. As of this morning I was looking lower.
Then bam!!! News about a bitcoin-friendly bill going to the senate.
82.5k is now within reach. Bitcoin has moved nearly 2.5k today.
Wanted to sell this morning but price was just so back and forth.
Glad I didn't sell but not glad that I didn't get any of the 2.5k move.
A bit of consolation for me was me heavily shorting gbpaud so nevermind.
If price closed inside the white box I will attempt a short again.
Kind of like a CRT strategy and monitor closely

Can't take profits too fast in this market!

Bulls held that TL today and had a nice run up. Hasn't made a new high yet, but looks like it might not be done yet.

On flip side, still have the TL's below that are not that far away despite todays move. Can't imagine if we went back there it would hold AGAIN, but the bulls have proven to be very resilient.

Clarity Act is certainly a bullish factor, but there is the old adage "buy the rumor, sell the news". Still a chance for a flash crash, but time is running out for that. Don't know if bears even have the ammo for that, but would definitely catch a lot of traders by surprise if they do.

My phone died yesterday and new one won't be in until tomorrow afternoon. Don't feel like sitting in front of a computer all day so probably going to be sidelined for a few days.

Managed to catch some of the bull move today after exiting short, but took profits quick since I was late to the game and again the phone issue.

Kind of in no man's land at the moment in my opinion. Thinking we will make another high above 82800 soon, but not sure if there will be a decent correction of todays move first.

BTCUSD is currently pricing the fair market value any break of structure above or below will confirm

I agree with you Chelsea9. Price can show massive volatility but eventually end up down.
It is heading down now but not as impulsively as the upmove and this usually gets my 'spidey' senses tingling
One good thing though for this idea - The stock market is currently 'tanking' and risk off.
If bitcoin moves up strong it would be because of its own internal combustion and energy.

Heading back down close to that TL again.

Looking very bearish at the moment. Will bulls show up again to defend that? I have my doubts. PA not impulsive, but looking very heavy

I noticed our Bitcoin "PRO" in other thread blew out his last demo account last night, quickly deleted it, and added a new one.

Price is back down to the support area where it lifted up as if it was having a meeting with the moon.
This is despite the stock market putting a recovery-like action. Prices have been waaaaay lower previously.
It should be an easier task going to the support box
EDIT:
It would be a quicker journey id weakness resumes in the stock market I believe as this would add to the risk off 'feel'

Yep, if stock market takes a nasty dip, BTC will follow.

Stock market is sooooo resilient, but does look long over due for at least a decent correction. NAS testing a TL right now (chart). Can it hold again? Don't know, but if it doesn't it could drop hard.
