I believe that the USDX is trying to fill up the Gap from the Daily. so Hold your Hedge or Sells Position.

Asian do retrace, lets keep watching the price. dont do anything now, keep the hedge. seems 4510 has been supported.

hey boss i have a question, do you open a new hedge when you close your big green, if so let's say if the price keeps going the same direction, do you take your 2nd green and expect it to retrace, or open another hedge and wait for it to retrace, and also during trending regime do you close positions at end of day (end of newyork ss i assume) ?

if I am on swing Hedge, I wont add anymore for my loosing position, what I do is I keep getting my Green and keep putting it back so I am still hedge.

nowadays, Im holding my hedge for swing, and couldnt close it on same day unlike before, but if you review the Price Action since Monday. on Monday Asian price fall from 4620 all the way to 4510 then from Yesterday, it climb back up until now. so if you observe, and when you Hedge last Monday, and cut the sells around 4510, by now you should have get out from your BUY and from your Sells Position already. this is the thing about hedging. the movement is never been going up forever, or going down forever, it will be up and down on both. so trade the way like this. and you will be profitable long run, your not looking for the the exact entry point or exact exit point, but you are looking to scoop all the movement as much as you can. thats why I am always campaigning Hedging techniques, nothing more nothing less.

and besides, on hedging your not predicting on here actually, as you are very well aware than whatever loosing position you have, price will comeback onto it. the only matter is how long you can hold. this is up to you. Our only Job is to know when is the exact time to unhedge (get the Greens) and go with the drawdown. this is the Hedgers Job

my updated Closed Book since Monday . Trading is easy actually as counting as 123, but sadly, not many people actually know how to crack it, but they didint realise the answer is already right onto their face Many guru will say, BUY here Sell there, but in the longrun I know they will not win... its like a a person Running only using a Single Leg. the Movement is limping you must stand on both legs and actually run. thats how trading do.

so we should expect price to retrace at some point right ? If it doesn't we just stay hedged and do nothing am i correct ? and if it does retrace, we go unhedged and do one side trading like you mentioned before ? what about fake retrace how do you usually deal with it
sorry for asking too many questions but i find this approach interesting and wanna give it a go, i did run some backtests with cbot from what i understand but the performance is underwhelming so i just want to clarify

At some point, you have to cash in all the profit from the winning side and then be one-sided on the drawdown and that is the side you are trying to then win on or at least break even. The problem that most people seem to be struggling with, is when exactly they do that. The sessions for who is doing the reversal shift around. It's a curious method because if you know the point of reversal, you could have just traded one side to the reversal point and then traded one side away from it (traditional). To me, you still have to know when it's reversing to make this method work. I'm not criticising it at all, just pointing out to the new guys what they need to focus on.

That is true, the problem i get in is when it does not reverse for a few times in a row

That bit is not such a problem. If you try to unhedge at a reversal point and it turns out not to be, you just rehedge again, so if you had 3 sells all losing, reversal doesn't work then put 3 buys again so you are full hedge and wait for another reversal attempt. When it comes, cash in the winning side and go one side on the reverse again. I believe its called "swinging the hedge"

For full disclosure, I do trade in a similar way to this but not exactly the way that is done here, so for me a reversal is fairly simple because it is just the opposite to what got me into the first set of hedges. I can't go into any more detail than that, sorry. But keep plugging away, just mind for price getting back "inside" your locked hedges, because when this happens, unless you have a big enough account it can make life quite difficult. Stick with Silvano, I don't really know him but he seems like a good guy who is prepared to put effort into helping you. All the best buddy

usdx is @ support right now,,, wait sydney for reconfirmation, they are the one who made the BULL move, they are also the one who can reverse this.
