Is the crypto market ideal for a newbie? What's your advice please.

Trading in the crypto and forex markets may be as difficult as playing Dark Souls —both are highly volatile and need a solid understanding of trading principles and risk management. Even with years of trading experience, I sometimes feel like a beginner. My advice for anyone new is to start with thorough education and small, manageable investments while you learn the ropes.

Forex is more stable with tighter regulation, making it slightly easier to start. The only problem is the spread. Right now, BTCUSD is the only one with decent spreads, similar to Forex currency pairs.

Crypto feels way more wild to me—prices swing like crazy, and stuff happens even while I sleep. Forex is steadier but needs more patience and focus on global events.

the crypto market can be exciting for a newbie but it's also very volatile which means prices can swing up and down quickly while that creates chances to make profit it also comes with higher risk so it's important to start small and take time to understand how things work always do your own research and avoid jumping in just because of hype platforms like lmfx offer both crypto and forex trading which is great if you want to explore different markets in one place while hfm focuses more on forex, these can give you a good feel for different market styles while you build experience

I totally agree, crypto wild swings can be overwhelming but for short-term or momentum traders, that volatility is pure opportunity. Meanwhile, forex might be slower, but it's great for those who prefer steady analysis and news-based strategies. Different pace, different edge. Just depends on your style.

Totally agree with you there. Crypto can feel like a rollercoaster, but that’s exactly what makes it exciting for quick trades. Forex definitely feels more structured, and you can rely more on economic indicators and trends. In contrast, the cryptocurrency market operates 24/7 and is highly volatile, which can lead to significant price fluctuations in a short period. Forex is easier to structure and review, while crypto gives more noise and more emotional pressure because it never really sleeps. For a newer trader I would still choose forex first, then touch crypto only after the risk process is already solid

Forex is also decentralized.
Forex Brokers are regulated.
I assume that Brokers that deal with Crypto are also regulated but not sure. It seems Crypto are more susceptive to scams.
I would stick with forex

Every market is good as long as you are capable enough. IF you have the right ability, and right approach then whether you are going to trade Cryptos or Forex, it will benefit you. IF you are not good enough, then nothing can save you.
