Gold is behaving exactly as expected for now.
After the drop, price found support in the 4690–4700 area and started reacting from there.
So far, this looks like a typical pullback structure rather than continuation lower.
The market is currently moving inside a range, with buyers stepping in on dips but still lacking strong momentum to break higher.
As long as price holds above the lows, the idea remains the same:
continuation to the upside is still on the table.
Key levels to watch:
– Support: 4690 zone
– Intraday resistance: 4750–4780
– Main target area: 4800+
No surprises yet — price is respecting the plan.
Waiting for confirmation or continuation before adding more exposure.

When we got to 4743, H4 indicated that we are headed northwards from there. However, PA nose-dived by 26 pips thereafter.

It can be explained. The New Yorkers had just entered the market and their presence must be felt.

So far, their Swing has given us 26 pips and PA has now climbed up to Fib 38.2 of the New York Swing and is pointing at going up

your stops seem extremely wide for your entries. the long setup on the m5 your stop looks massive, but right now its worked as everyone else who put the stop in the usual place got mauled by what looks to be a stop hunt. anyways im not liking the price action and have liquidated my short orders

I've stopped hoping and decided to get out. what happened just now on m5 appears to be a stop hunt imo and im really not liking the price action in general.
most people who bought on m5 recently would have got their stops hit, even though price has currently recoevered

whats everyones take profit whos long?

looking at the multi timeframe analysis i expect gold to get to at least 4767, but any much more than that is a huge gamble imo and i dont like the idea of holding this over the weekend.

All that needs to happen is for trump to sneeze or fart on Truth Social, and thousands of muppets sitting at their desks start getting shook and pressing buttons and price moves like 100 pips in 10 minutes. One could easily come back after the weekend to find the market has moved decisively against him. In fact it happened to me 2 weeks ago. lost 4x the amount i should have if my stop loss would have been respected.
