IMO gold will go up slowly slowly to fill the gap and in NY it will be down till any solid news.
No deal will be done between Iran and US till trump stupid tweets.

Not that i used the same pattern, in fact was tracking another but is curious they do it again.
If i had saw this confluence i had enter with more positions...
Another pattern explained here that can not have a 15m close below or is better just leave it despite can play also. Also with high probability of be tested not playing out...

It depends on how you master the SMC methodology. Most SMC traders focus on FVG + IFVG for entry, most SMC traders focus on OB, and most SMC traders focus on structure. So, which SMC chapter are you trying to master? The simple and profitable method is better. The journey is yours. IMHO

Taken a short at 4792 could backfire but we’ve spent most of London AM session trying to crack open 4800 with limited success. NYO may continue to take us lower maybe try 4750 area before turning back to 48k magnet

crowdsourcing. could it be the reason we're in this range is because institutional traders are still collectively deciding whether to totally fill (not just wick fill) the gap on 4740 before pushing to the bullish side? expert opinions please. thanks.

Is not fresh anymore after breakout, no more meaning to me.
Relying that exist orders to be filled there, next time can not have a single one or not enough to stop price.
In fact you can apply this pattern in 15m, 30, 1h and 4h the position size at that point is diferent because the mirror move that they usual do, i prefer 15m/30m because is a less exposure and have a quick invalidation, it simple can not close that usual they don't more times than not, there are more room to breath than to follow thru...


The same pattern below on Friday, but this one i play it...
