price does not lie your read of price does that is why most people fail they see structure they just read it wrong
ICT SMC is fine (not promoting them please do not come for me lol) people just use it as an excuse to over analyze and still lose STRUCTURE WORKS your misread does not and look I am not telling you to go learn market structure or anything this is just what worked for me take it or LEAVE it
TBH DITCH EVERYTHING ELSE YOUR CHART IS YOUR REAL TEACHER
DO BACKTESTING do not just watch videos and swallow it whole without questioning
test things yourself on different timeframes does this concept actually work on your pair how does price move before expansion where does it manipulate before it runs because
I have watched a ton of videos and price does not do the exact things they show you EVER it gives you the idea and that is it
THERE IS NEW STRUCTURE EVERY SINGLE DAY nobody is going to tell you exactly what the market will do tomorrow not me not your favourite trader not anyone
CONSISTENCY AND JOURNALING IS WHAT SEPARATES PEOPLE
pick one single pair spend 6 months on it backtest it detail it journal every single trade and you will start seeing the market completely differently that shift in how you see price it does not come from a course it comes from screen time...

Spitting in the face is easy, difficult is to have real arguments.
How many times had i said 1st hour breaking volatility to be averaged more times than not?
I don't share what i don't know if is an edge or not, i get what they offer.
Be afraid at any market will not make a trader profitable either...
But you know what? Many people here just don't want learn and make homework...
People prefer rely on others than in itselfs...
No one should rely at any pattern shared, but make the homework and make it better if possible...

A lot of people also write for nothing. What I mean is, I see people making calls and doing analyses, and then some of them go and ask other users whether they should keep their positions.
I’m like… wtf lol. Didn’t you just talk like a guru an hour ago?

Yeah, but as you can see, you’re actually the perfect example. I read and learn a lot from you. I try to learn a bit from everyone, so sometimes I’ll spot someone’s analysis, and then later I see them asking if they should keep their position. And then I’m like, damn… I literally wasted my time reading that or trusting it lol.
They clutter the threads more than anything and end up misleading a lot of people. Even though we’re supposed to rely on ourselves and not on anyone else, having a mentor you can trust and learn from is great and we take it, especially when it’s free!

The last one that argue with me since about 4300 that we go bearish because fundamentals, wars and so on, the reality is that price are bullish since then.
I am not an investor, i am a day trader and price don't move in a straight line... It respect prices and fluctuate between them more time than not with the same behavor..
The times that i saw people blaming trump after a rejection pattern had playout as the catalist is unreal... That is not trading, is betting...

Gold looks to me like this and seems still stuck inside this channel no clear direction still in ranging.
1 hour and 4 hour are showing movements but daily trendline no movement.
i think that is the reason for this long range and not clear movement.
hopefully today we will get better/clear move.

Gold Detail Long Term Scenario
Gold is currently rejecting the 4790-4800 resistance zone where price has formed multiple rejections and a minor lower high structure. The market is still respecting the rising trendline but momentum is weakening and price is compressing inside a tightening range suggesting a liquidity buildup before a move. The structure shows a potential fake breakout upward followed by continuation to the downside especially with your sell already active. As long as price stays below 4850-4900 bearish pressure remains valid targeting lower demand zones.
Key levels to watch:
Resistance: 4850–4900 (critical rejection zone)
Intraday support: 4700-4680
Target: 4600-4550
Extended target: 4400-4300 zone

A clean break below 4700 will likely accelerate the sell toward the marked blue demand zones.

For a min forget about your "channels/lines" and think it this way...on Fri, when the war premium seemed to have been lifted, the dollar quickly sold, giving gold the tailwind it needed to easily clear 4850. However, after a short while Iran again blocked the strait, then dollar regained and is still gaining, thus again re-installing a headwind for gold. Now that was a cancel-out. And thus as long as dollar remains to be in premium, even though its not moving rapidly, gold shall remain in this 'stale' state. In a day or two everything will be clear though. If war resumes, both gold and dollar will rise, but gold shall retreat and fall to 43/4/500s. If war is again called off(hopefully for good), gold shall aim for 5200s, the current lower premium. So, yes, its not because of the 'channels or lines' you've drawn, but pure geo-politicals in play here - and if you can consider incorporating fundamentals in your technicals you'll have a match made in heaven.
