Anything is possible in Gold. You saw what happened about six hours ago. PA was eyeing 4800 as it had got 4788. All of a sudden, it tumbled to 4753 in a flash but then started a slow but steady march upwards again. Presently, it has attained 4783 but don't rule out more surprises

I still hold my long stance mid to long term. Trump wants this war to go away. that is the theme. Bullish for gold. Now keep in mind refer to valuations on just about everything. We are near dot com valuations on markets. Anyone look at the Brazil market or currency? Money is out there sloshing around in volume. Just keep an eye on it because when it starts running hard nothing escapes.

I agree after a bullish move on Monday, price failed to break the highlighted resistance area today. From a technical perspective, this increases the probability of profit taking, which could lead to a short term correction in gold.

Executed my Long.
First long setup triggered earlier, but I closed it immediately because I don’t execute any trade trigger within 10 minutes of high‑impact news.
A second clean long setup triggered later and I executed it, but SL got hit. Done for the day.

My plug and play research showed this,,but of course no guaranted at all..just a reference..

DATA SOURCE: FRED / Market aggregate — Accuracy not guaranteed

The US dollar (DXY) dropped strongly by -0.52%, and at the same time gold went up (+0.30%), which clearly shows that gold is being pushed higher because the dollar is getting weaker. Even though the S&P 500 went up a lot (+3.14%), this is not a pure “risk-on” move because gold is also rising, which normally doesn’t happen in a typical risk-on environment. The 10-year yield also dropped (-6 bps), but it is not the main driver here since it moved in the same direction as the dollar, so it doesn’t confirm a rates-driven move.
So the correct read is: this is a USD-driven move (Regime B) — meaning the weakness in the dollar is the main reason why gold is going up.

Trading bias: Buy gold
Main reason: Weak dollar
Invalidation: If the dollar starts going up again (≥ +0.15%)

if the bears have really given up now 4800 should be a cakewalk. 4833 is a level I am looking at if 4800 and prev high of 4804 are breached
