This is where it has hit bottom so far on today's move. Thats not a bad place to turn. My mistake not giving a little extra room for this possibility.

Ive got the stop all the way to 65700 as I said, but it really should make a turn around here..preferably already did. It shouldn't even come close to my stop

Slight adjustments actually. Ive been backtesting with the extension tool a lot lately and noticing some things I think will be very helpful

Could still turn here, but getting late in day. Don't like the price action and don't like how its come back to test the trendline below again. Looks to be hanging on by a thread. One more powerful sell order could send it tumbling.

Using a wide stop so I can exit early if things don't go as planned.

Target at 54/55k is possible too. Want to see how this plays out

Moving stop to 74k. Think it will be fine there and still plenty of room to leave early if things dont look right.

52k is 1.5 extension of the latest range we had from 60-76k.

The first big selloff went to 2.0 extension, but this one might be smaller.

If we look back at last bear market the first big selloff out of a range went to 1.5 ext and second big wave went to 2.0. Might be the opposite this time.

Target is going to be 54k though because more likely to get filled if we bounce exactly off 1.5 extension.

Its Friday and if we hang around this area by CME close (or head lower) there could be another big gap down by the time CME reopens on Sunday evening. The same thing happened last bear market. There were 2 big gaps down in that market and we might get the same thing on this one. The similarity in structure between last bear market and this one has been remarkable to me.

I had my doubts it would continue, but cant argue with the market. Seems like we'll be seeing new lows soon, but lets see how we close the day.

Bulls trying to create a floor here, but selling is relentless.

Got another TL below at 66k, but its already been tested once and that area has been tested several times. Could it hold again? I dont think so.

If 66k doesn't hold that brings us to 62k, where it did hold twice before, but not sure it'll hold for a third time. Dont think it will. And after that not much lower is the bottom at 60k. Could break that and turn shortly after, but I think itll make a run for that low at 52500 from September 2024. May or may not break that one, but at 54k I'll be out if all works out

Tough market!
Not doing what I expected and haven't been in profit since I entered this trade. Exiting early again and going to enjoy my weekend.

Best I can do is limit losers to small losses. Its annoying but that the only way to preserve capital.

The low that is a line in the sand for me never did break today and then we see some buying after CME close...definitely not a sign its going to gap lower. So im out for now. Going to lick my wounds over weekend and come back Sunday night ready for battle again.

Well im back. Took a shower, thought about it, got out of shower and went long again....I know Im ridiculous

Ive said before im a trading addict and Im a fighter (not real pro fighter, theyd kick my ass). Just figured its kind of stupid to NOT try a long right now with it being so close to where I can put a stop. That price action fooled me this morning, getting out at b/e and trying the short seemed like best bet.

So im long again with stop at 68700. Not risking too much and reward could be big. I need a good win and all this bullshit is forgotten. Well not forgotten, but ill be firmly in black for month.

Like I said, that low wasnt actually broken and the buying after CME close is a possible sign it will gap UP not down, especially since it ended day near the low.

Moving stop closer to 69500.
Target is 77000
Going to assume the break the highs and run for another 1,000 or 2 and then retreat business will continue until the deep pullbacks end.
This is a better than 1:5 risk reward.

3 important lines match up in that area around 69,200 - 69,600

Kind of hard to see in chart im posting here, but theres the 2.0 retracement, the 1.0 extension, and another 1.0 extension

And of course the trendline above

Will be looking for a reason to buy around 59,000 -58,500

2.0 extension all in same close area

2.0 extension and 1.25 retracement at same exact price
