Gold is still supported by the bigger-picture bullish story, but the short-term chart is showing a mixed-to-bearish structure while price stays below the recent resistance zone. Fundamentally, gold is benefiting from safe-haven demand and long-term macro uncertainty, but it is facing pressure from a stronger U.S. dollar and hawkish rate expectations, which usually cap upside in the near term. On the technical side, the market is still choppy and reactive. Gold is trading around the 4540–4550 area, with resistance near 4569 and then higher targets around 4613–4677 if buyers get a clean breakout and retest. If price loses the 4500 area, downside risk opens toward 4485 and lower support zones, so the current market is better treated as a breakout market, not a random entry zone.
