Gold drop is a reaction to US10Y and 02Y rocketing up I think. Who knows what's going to happen at this point.

Think for as long as the conflict is going on we just need to be mindful there is a more bearish outlook. I have been tracking the dollar and oil prices when I look at my gold trades.
Been selling all week and it's proven very good for me.

Last week I did a mixture of buys and sells but this week for me has been sells only looking at the charts

I'm not going to try and predict whether it will be bullish or bearish from here. I have a new account now and I want it to have a healthy and steady start. I will be waiting for more stable PA. I don't care how long it takes. Until then I will only be watching charts for analysis.

Just FYI, I am glad you have done well but oil is not a confluence for gold. Gold crashed because of FOMC. Gold usually correlates with DXY and yields.

Thanks for the fundamentals flavour that you have added. I also cherish fundamental analysis but I prefer to trade what the charts are telling me because at the end of the day, the fundamentals define themselves on the charts

when the oil price increases global inflation will rise. Since it's a global commodity. In that basis we if crude oil price rise drastically, inflation fears will drag down gold. Thats my view on this drastic drop on gold. Open for comments.

Oil prices had a minor affect on core inflation. Price drop is because of FOMC, and US yields.

Oil is not a confluence for gold normally but right now it is a factor. Just like the strength of the dollar is due to petrodollar strength.

FOMC stated the cost of oil as one of the factors they need to account for. More expensive oil gets the more likely hood of an inflation spike. No rate cuts and if it gets bad enough maybe even an increase in rates to combat inflation.

So not a direct correlation but can be additional useful information for now. When the conflict ends it will no longer have much weighting

Methodology: PA and SMC (CHoCH behaviorism)

Spam Buy at Rejection Block and fresh OB (scalps). All numbers (price labels) are also valid for rejection. Overall, still bearish with missing structure. IMHO
