Can see on H4 there was also a gigantic imbalance there to that was rebalanced

I don't trade EURUSD though so for now id just be looking at that low breaking below that imbalance for bearish continuation.

It's been a few days since I came across this thread and it's the first time I've tried another strategy, so I didn't have time to test this one. I have to say that yesterday I decided to try it and I was wondering what to test it on, finally I decided to start today and on gold. At the beginning of the day (7:30 am here) I caught a 3x losing streak, but I still stick to the rules that this strategy has, and the result is really crazy.

Yes, I expect that there will be days like with any strategy, that the results will not be like today, but even 1% per day would be a success for me.
Thank you very much for sharing and I hope that this great indicator will continue to be there for people.

And I would like to ask how and by what do you mark those daily levels? Do you mark all the daily highs and lows?

For Gold right now, we can jus see if this bounce is going to turn into another trend towards PDL or not.

Nova has banked ALOT on the sells today though

You're welcome - it get super interesting when seeing those massive volume spikes towards key liquidity.

Price either goes right through it and continues or we get a lovely reversal setup where if the HTF is bullish... well you'd be in at the very start of what could be a new trend targetting opposing liquidity.

I know it all sounds like ICT BUT... liquidity and volume is what moves price anyway so it's all fair game lol

Nova signals help traders of all levels get a foot in the door but it really can change your trading over time. Just have to iron out the market understanding side like what I'm showing you now.

Every single trade you take needs a WHY behind it and if traders aren't being trapped then theres no point in taking anything.

I want to see some kind of sweep, reversal and then ema flip for the new trend to fully form and I can use Nova to take small bites out of the new trend until I either start taking 2 losses in a row or next liquidity is hit.

By using Previous Day High/Low, Session High/Low, Daily Open etc... you give yourself daily targets that are possible and allow you to see the full cycle of manipulation going into distribution to the next poi.

Well again welcome to the thread

You'll learn a lot here because I share... or overshare my thoughts so it's easy to digest.

I repeat myself again and again lol... but if you need somethere to start this is the last write up I did for the system >>> Click Here

If you decide to follow it as I use it then you can but you are free to incorporate it into your own system/strategy.

Every day before market open I'll mark both the previous day low and previous day high as well as the previous session high and low so for me it would be Asia high low.

Every week I mark the previous weeks low and high also.

Then each day I want to see one of those get swept and for price to either reverse giving structure breaks to confirm.. structure is key.

Then once I start seeing the EMA's flip I know its GO time to start taking the signals coming from Nova towards the opposite liqudity area or the zones I just mentioned.

There is more to it but for now thats all you need to be profitable seriously.

Market just repeats itself all the time so it's so predictable... but if you dont utilise that knowlege then you'll find yourself taking trades in the middle of a range and losing time and time again.

Always ask questions and I'll answer... I answer everyone.

You'll see in some previous post I said you also need to have a WHY behind taking the trade.. that will stop youfrom having losing streaks.

I can't remember the last time I had one and as I count my profit as R's or Reward.... im up wayyyyy too many to even care for a loss and that's where you want to be.

Not counted but Nova has given at least 18R today... add 5 losses to that and you still gained 13R.

See what I mean?

Then tomorrow you do it all again xD - the more you do test Nova the more you will get it... it's actually extremely addictive.

I see. I’ll definitely read the strategy description more carefully. For now, I’m not adjusting anything on my own and am strictly sticking to 2R. I’ll tweak it later once I have some statistics and an idea of how it’s working for me. Of course, I mark these things as daily/weekly highs and lows, but you had “old daily low” marked there, which confused me.

Yes, you’re right, but on the other hand, you have to know your limits and not be unnecessarily greedy. I’m of the opinion that if you make a lot in a day, you should step away from the chart for the rest of the day and come back to it tomorrow, so you don’t risk over-trading or burning out if you happen to hit a losing streak.
But I’m really glad I stumbled upon this thread.

Right now I won't be taking ANY nova signals till we have confirmation of where price is going next.

I'm personally done for the day and if you check todays open vs where it stalled you can see it was from an old previous day low.

Use the daily chart and look and you'll understand.

Right now its just time to sit on your hands lol

Everyone has different risk tolerances but staying mechanical will help.

I'm more of the person that will take what the system gives by following the flow of liquidity, I won't stop if I have the time to trade till price reaches a logical place aha.

For example, Nova smashed it today and then I'd stop when price hit the old pervious day low.

I had it marked out because we were already below yesterdays low so I needed to identify another place where price may stall/turn around.

For me, I like to just trade some of london and then into NY and stop.

Whilst building confidence you can definitely stick to the 2R or if you want a higher win-rate then target 1.5R.

I like 2R because it hits often and if I have a loss its a single whole 1R - helps my psychology lol

Thing is, once I take 2 losses in a row I know something is about to happen... it weird but that can happen and you end up making it all back plus some if you reset and understand whats going on.

I rarely have a losing day and it's not because I'm a good trader it's just because I like to know where I am like sat nav when I trade

Also whenever I mention about price reversing... I don't always mean full trend change.

That massive bear move today for me means that I'll be looking for price to pull back to at least 50% before turning again which could be during asia or tomorrow.

We just have to see and be ready for the next day.

Today there is FOMC. This could be the catalyst to filling the imbalances caused by todays massive bear run.

When it dropped again, there were still a few trades, but with a real account I probably wouldn't have opened them all..

yesterday evening was a beautiful night for trading gold, i live in the UK so don't trade in the evening, but after last night i may have to back test to see if its worthwhile.

Hi Well, I started testing yesterday and didn't start trading until the London session. Today I got up early and traded a bit during the Asian session, and it's actually going pretty well—I'm already up +3R even before the London session has started, and that's without rushing into trades at any cost.
We need to test, test, and learn the system so we know how to proceed in every situation.

This morning was a perfect morning as-well, Asia broke yesterdays low and we are below the daily open.
These were the possible trades this morning, i didn't get my backside out of bed early enough to catch them apart from the last trade which was a 2R profit.
My 2 horizontal lines are the 5 & 15min nova signal lines crossing below the 0 level and the ema were lined up and spaced perfectly.

The last trade i took was in my opinion very risky as it was at London open, but it worked out well in the end.

I think the price will reverse within the range where I’ve marked the daily demand zone at 4550–4650, and then head toward testing the previous day’s low. Personally, I won’t be looking for opportunities to open short positions within this range anymore.

What are your expectations?

I think this could head down to about 4400, today is an insane day for nova.

Well, I’d expect something to happen in that zone—maybe it just takes time, and maybe you’re right and the price is heading toward the previous monthly low.
