Yeah , of course there’ll be casualties on both sides . The point I’m making is the ability for the US administration to alleviate public pressure ( being the aggressor) when the casualties rack up , unlike the Iranian regime which can sustain the casualties without any consequences from external public opinion .

The Iranians will be prepared for such an eventuality , the body bag count on the US side will also be a contributory factor. It appears the Iranians have far outmanoeuvred strategically their adversaries .

The Achilles heel and potential to stop the flow of Oil globally is exerting untold pressure on the US and Western societies , giving major leverage to Iran .

As yet , no viable solution exists to alleviate the pressure .

If you don't live in the US, you may not recall how hot that issue was.
