when you see a price near support and resistance, ask your self (is it time for a bank to open or close???) remember, those bank who did make the price move is the same bank who can actually reverse it... practice this with session timing


this is my major reason why I start at asia and ends up in NY

now london session start，bank open，the price at the resistance rejected a bit，but how to know the price is going up or down，its like 50/50

1. i didn't close positive sell and place a buy at 5140
2. i see resistance on 30min at price 5180 with some rejection and i closed positive buy and place sell order
3. after the price breach the resistance i added 3 buy order to hedge…
any recommend for me to improve…？

- In asia you should collect the profits without worrying about where it is.
- When you make your final unhedge in NY you should be sure that its right and if so you shoul believe that it will retrace, (e.g. if you unhedge and it goes againts you a bit so you rehedge again then it reverses, now you have more drawdown because you didnt believe)
- Again, in asian session when you close a profiting you add BUY and SELL. the only time you add 1 side is for the real revearsal in NY open, or if you really think the reversal is happening in Asian itself, which could be the case sometime. you will get the hang of the reversal patterns when you practice more.
- But remember whatever drawdown you have dont unhedge in london, it will trap you
- Your mistake was fully unhedging and exposing your SELLs now, its not the right time
- If you see the picuture i sent above, it broke the trendline, so 180 was not a time to unhedge, it shows that it will continue up, so you should just wait

thank for your reply，i understand better now.. another question，in the first 4Hour in asia session，we just buy and sell ，collecting profit. what if after 4Hour？do we still can buy and sell collecting profit？or after 4 Hour，we just remain hedge until new york session？

better to stay hedged, doesnt exactly have to be first 4h, maybe 5,6 is fine just stay hedged before london. but personally i would just collect profits first couple hours then go sleep. reason being if you do too much you will have too many positions to deal with later and less margin, and the positions may be further apart, the closer the better, also try to keep the hedge in a way that the SELL is above the BUY so the drawdown is positive, thats what i do

after 4hours asia open, we usually fully hedge. dont unhedge in london again, next time only undhege at NY so it can give you more better and clear signals
