They are called hydrocarbons, "fossil fuels" is an idiotic term, dinosaurs did not exist and they did not melt, turning their flesh into oil we use today - no matter how many times you repeat this.

von-der-leyen was trained in california, before she was placed in EU commission role, un-elected!

A fossil isn't the same thing as a dinosaur. A plant, a tree can become a fossil

there was something idiotic in there all right but it wasn't on the term they used.

I will not argue with you about a point that neither you claim nor I claim - I have heard this repeated many times, thus I assumed to be the case here as well.

A fossil can also mean skeletons, not only trees or plants - fossil is all living matters that get fossilized, if that is the case, how can you explain oil found inside bare-rock mountains? like the caucus and various other places? or the deserts?

at sea-beds it makes sense as things can accumulate over time, but mountains or deserts?

I am not claiming to know were oil comes from or how its produced, I just find the official labeling and narrative to be incoherent and fall apart when any scrutiny is applied.

I called the term idiotic - also you think I made this up in my head? I have read this in countless science magazines and so called "news" outlet over the years and the definition of the term seems to have changed over time - dinosaur remnants turned into oil - used to be the popular opinion 10-15 years ago, before the green-agenda craze came into effect.

But thanks, you did not answer my question nor explain anything, just like the previous discussion, were you made claims you could not back up and decided to roll out!
