Yeah no I completely agree, but in terms of pricing in fundamentals and geopolitical events its easier than guessing what USD pairs are going to do, because Trump can come in and easily change that to suit his own narrative. Whereas, events like oil supply chain disruptions and war when priced in weigh much more than what Trump has to say, so markets are less likely to be affected by his speech, tweets, etc.

I'd love to open a position. Non-farm employment and non-farm payroll data always do well for me. But before, I traded independently, and now with a funded account, I would have had to open the position five hours before the data was released, haha. Anyway, we'll see if I can still make some profit after the data is released.

Good to know, friend. I did some research beforehand to find the best options, and I was given FTMO, Funding Pips, Funded Next, and The5users. I ended up choosing Funding Pips because of their prices and challenges. Well, next week should be my first payment with them, haha, to buy a challenge from a larger account. I hope everything goes well.

You technically just can't close a trade during the news window unless it was opened 5 hours before.

You can open a trade before the 5 minute window and just have to hold it until 5 minutes after. Still not really worth gambling on news

4987.., imo, price can make pull back to 5060 then..,

4947 - DPP, missed, 18.02
4820 - WPP, missed, 9-13.02

That 5-minute thing I hadn't paid attention to, I only understood the 5-hour one, but yes, it's really not worth opening a position and leaving it for 5 minutes, considering that when I had my own account, my strategy was to take advantage of the gap that opened in gold and quickly close it, achieving profits of 5%, 10%, once I even made 25% in an insane Non-Farm payroll last year, after the Congressional Breakout haha but now the style is different, another approach, capital preservation and only good entries in my setup.
