KK_VWAP – Reset Modes Explained
The indicator calculates VWAP (Volume Weighted Average Price) using Typical Price (High + Low + Close) / 3 multiplied by tick volume, cumulated from the start of each session.
H1 – Resets every hour. Each new hourly candle starts a fresh VWAP calculation.
H4 – Resets every 4 hours at fixed sessions: 00:00, 04:00, 08:00, 12:00, 16:00, 20:00 server time.
Daily – Resets at the start of each new trading day. Most commonly used VWAP mode.
Weekly – Resets every Monday. The VWAP accumulates across the entire week.
Monthly – Resets on the 1st of each month. Useful for identifying longer-term value areas.
On MT5, real volume is used when available (exchanges), otherwise falls back to tick volume (forex/crypto).

Engineer BlueRain....JeanLouie....to mention but a few there are others they display mastership in coding,but go check them all out, they don't splash you with rough statements cos they no more than whoever they are helping they quietly code or they don't do it at all.Soon others will stop asking for assistance from someone who will first dirty you up before helping you .

A time comes when you realize that actually educating yourself and creating your own indicators, EA's etc is a far better road to take than constantly relying on others to do the hard yards.... #FishCatch #NotGiven

"right" and "kind" are completely different categories and can not be logically compared.
So, this is a false dilemma (also called false dichotomy).
That’s when a situation is presented as having only two mutually exclusive choices, when in reality more options exist — in this case:
You can be right and kind.
You can be wrong and kind.
You can be right and unkind.
You can be wrong and unkind.
BTW:
The answer is: I would rather be right independent of being kind or unkind.

Well said. Being kind is too simple, being right is too simple. Being emotionally aware - well that's a different thing. This thread is full of people that have joined FF and this is the only thread they have posted in - asking for good people to give free work. Much respect to those that give it, but after repeated and (I mean seeing 2-3 years of repeated asking) not even giving back a single thing nor even shown any sign of learning or progression on their own - then being right prevails over being kind.

Each situation is individual, you nailed it. The issue with FF is not the forum itself, the subject itself attracts (not exclusively) the Instagram wannabe's that think this is easy money. It isn't . These people would have never spent 4 years learning to be an engineer, lawyer or an architect either.

The 5.0 version wasn't working properly - I missed something in the code.
The new version is fixed and properly converted to strict mode.

So I have an issue thats shitting me..
This is in MT5
Ive created dashboard that scans 30+ pairs and ranks them.
Next it opens the ranked 1 with new chart with saved template.
This template has 1 custom indicator and EA attached.
I have saved the template with the EA with allow Algo trading ticked, yet every time template is opened, its disabled.

AI tells me it an inbuilt safety feature .

Am i missing something simple or is AI correct? Or Does anyone have a work around ?

I came across same (not exact) problem. Work around save as Default.tpl (Default template) in MT4 so hoping - should work in MT5 too. Either way update us if try that

Thanks, Strange, it didnt enable when called from dash, but was enabled when loaded new chart..

Update... I converted my dash from indicator to EA and seems to work.. More testing to go but looks ok..

Yes, that is a safety feature.
If you load an EA by a template, it will always be trading disabled in the program.
And yes, the workaround is to either save your template as default.tpl, or switch symbols, not templates.
IOW, have a chart with your template applied, and use a symbol switcher.

Thanks EV, mush appreciated, Converting Dash to an EA has seemed to work. just waiting for a few hours to see how it actually performs live on a micro lot..
If it fails, Ill look at symbol switcher..
