I made a mistake today by trading an idea that is not part of my system. Instead of writing it down as a note and observing it first, I treated it as if it was already confirmed.
My system is structured from the start of the day. I define direction, key levels, and the bias, which can adjust as the day develops. Asia High and Low are fixed from the beginning, and Asia Close needs time during pre‑NY to be confirmed. What I did today was not an adjustment. It was inventing something that does not belong to the plan.
The Asia low was clean and clear. After the aggressive drop, I added another low based only on the wick and labeled it as an extreme scenario. The market built a perfect setup around it, which made it even more convincing, but that does not change the fact that this idea is not part of my system.
I broke my own structure, and that is the real issue.
Lesson noted.

This is what trading is all about, accepting your mistakes instead of blaming the market. When you lose, you step back and analyze where you went wrong so you dont repeat the same mistake. Its you vs. you, not you vs. the market.
