A long, long-term fraud, tax cheat, scamster, convicted sexual predator (at minimum,) and serial bankrupt was elected President of the United States. That is a tragedy, not a comedy. He's a Russian asset, fined 36 years ago by the SEC for laundering Russian money, who did it again in a real estate transaction in 2008. The amount he earned then was almost the exact amount he said that he "paid with his own money" during the campaign. Not only did Russia pay for his campaign, they ran constant social media campaigns lying and impugning everyone who ran against him. It's a shame that there is no law against a President working for another country; I guess they never imagined they'd need one. Trump is making Canada, Europe, China, great by destroying America's former position in the world. Putin's a genius in addition to probably being the richest human on the planet...not that you need money when you own a country. His acolyte owns one too now, but nothing will ever stop him from trying to get more in any way he can. Shorting the American dollar to buy cryptos ought to be illegal for a President; no one thought they needed a law about that either.

President Donald Trump said Friday he will sign an executive order imposing a new 10% “global tariff,” hours after the Supreme Court struck down his sweeping “reciprocal” import duties in a major rebuke of his trade agenda.

The new tariffs will come on top of the existing levies that remain intact following the high court’s decision, Trump said as he raged at the ruling during a White House press briefing.

He will sign an executive order later Friday imposing the new duties, which are being invoked under Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974.

Tariffs conjured using that statute can only last for 150 days, with any extension requiring congressional approval.

Asked at the press briefing about that time limit, Trump said, “We have the right to do pretty much what we want to do.”
