I just want to share something important about marking up your charts because it played a key role today on gold.
If you see below, price rejected the previous day low during asian session and followed up with a massive imbalance.
So going into the london session (white vertical dotted line) you can see that price was within the imbalance and also rejected.
For me the next viable location for liquidity would be the asia low which also happened to be below the previous weeks low and we had a reaction from it.

So therefore, if you were trading you would be focussing on the asia low and also thinking about if price will stay below the weekly low or come back into it which it's currently hovering around.
So for me I would be look at this area to see what happens which is following context. If price rejects this area and shows bullish structure then I know that I can somewhat trust price to climb higher and thats how you can guess it might head back towards the previous day low at least.
Where we are right now I'd then shape my own idea that if price rejects here then I'll be looking for longs as the HTF's like the daily are still bullish.
I'd hope the 4HR will turn back bullish and if it does then it'll give me more confidence that I can start going long again... If not then we are in for a nice ride down.
This is M1 currently and from what I'm currently testing... Nova is telling me to look for buys soon at this area but we will see:

Big volume candles are a warning sign. They usually reverse.
They only make sense to trade when they form at a clear POI (point of interest).
If price is in the middle between two POIs, a big volume candle isn’t “safe” because there may be other POIs you’re not watching that can affect price.
I trade the 1-minute chart because it gives the best RR and lets me see price in detail. If I took the same ideas on the 15-minute, I’d miss a lot.
I’m not chasing crazy wins, but if I’m going to trade, I’d rather learn how price moves and get in earlier than settle for a 2R on higher timeframes.
Market makers move price from zone to zone, starting from very specific points that higher timeframes don’t show. I’d rather take a few small losses to catch the main move from the start.
This is where my approach is personal. Not everyone’s like me—and you shouldn’t be. That’s why you have scalpers, day traders, swing traders, and long-term investors. I like to be in and out today.
Just remember: when you see huge volume candles, you’re probably in an imbalance. You can wait instead of jumping in.
I’m not posting to “teach trading” but to share how I try to get an edge and take part in the move.
Imbalances / fair value gaps work—not because of the name, but because market makers have too much size to unload at once.
Our job is to line up with their intent. That means being patient and targeting the areas they need to use to move price to the next zone.
I’m not selling Nova as some magic tool. I just use it to track price and intent. Everyone should build their own way.
If you focus on volume and how it actually behaves, you’ll be safer long term. I’m only now really pushing people to pay attention to it more because it’s important.
So:
- Find key liquidity.
- Wait for a reaction.
- Use Nova to confirm volume is low.
- Then position yourself to catch the move that follows.
You’re never “too early” if you know where price is likely to turn on the higher picture. If you catch the market makers’ move, you’re right on time.

Here is the main question to anyone that sees this... what got you into trading & why are you here in this thread? Cos i'll be honest... I was the worst strategy hopper before till I met my mentor who IS on here. But it was only me that made me actually realise that my mind was killing my progress. He helped me but overall you have to realise and fix it. It's the ego and once you face your ego you can make changes but till then... you won't arrive here to truly learn. Cos I feel like every big thread on here can make you all profitable but then...
Personally I was searching on FF because I was looking at complimenting my volume analysis as I utilize a neat indicator created by a Spanish trader called blia5 that combines both volume and trend information somewhat like you Nova indicator so from what I read you are a newly minted Gibraltarian so I am sure all that wonderful Tapas at your doorstep must be a real drag
When I first saw Nova it looked like an older indicator I use created by a trader called Scott but your volume work makes this a really nice bit of kit and I compliment you on your creation in my opinion its worthy to be ranked with the likes of Wilder's RSI, Appel's MACD, Chaikin's CMF, Lane's Stochastic and Williams %R. Now after blowing enough smoke up your nose. I tip my hat to you Andrea, great work.

The moment I focussed on volume is when my trading turned around and i've not looked back since.
Any system that doesn't use volume is pointless IMO because why would you look at anything else lol.
Also, I've been a Gibraltarian for a very long time (office there) but would travel back and forth from Sotogrande - UK aha.. I have a home in the Soto Marina.
Gibraltar is perfect to set up a LTD Company so the tax man doesnt try and lock me up ha.

IF you took all the nova signals AND held to previous day high. 8R if you didn't and took 2R each.
I marked almost all the signals but those losses I wouldn't have entered due to the imbalance below.
This isn't magic... you just have to know where you are before committing.
