So Bias comes from alignment, not emotions.
If HTF is in premium and showing weakness, I’m not fighting that.
Now about news…
Personally, I do believe markets are heavily algorithmic. A lot of those news spikes? Liquidity engineering. They run stops, fill positions, then move where price was likely headed anyway. Retail gets emotional, smart money gets filled.
Of course, real black swan stuff (wars, surprise political events, Trump tweeting at 3am ) can disrupt things. But most of the time? Structure leads.
And most importantly....none of this matters without risk management.
I’ve seen traders profitable with a 30% win rate because their RR and risk control are elite.
And I’ve seen 80% win-rate traders blow accounts because they overleveraged.
Bias helps.
Structure helps.
But protecting capital is what keeps you in the game.
That’s just my perspective though...still learning like everyone else on this thread.
