Trump has tried to bully , manipulate and deceive his entire life . I’m not sure they’re the perfect credentials for any position of power , yet alone President of the US . He’s been elected by default due to the failings of many predecessors ( predominantly Democrats ) ; the lesson to be learnt here is that when people want change , “ you listen and deliver “ .

The Democratic Party has only itself to blame for nominating Biden and then Harris ; a double whammy . Change requires grassroots leadership and candidates with credibility to bring about the changes for the good of all , leaving aside the woke agenda , champagne socialists who pay lip service to a political agenda whilst enriching themselves from within ( think Pelosi ) .

This current administration is the result of the above failures to address the problems and read the room ; hence we have now flipped to an autocratic system it seems .

Well that is true, but you're just assuming the Republicans are a lost case, and i don't think it's reasonable to assume in a bipartisan system the Democrats would always win, even if they had the perfect choice for President.
When in power you have to take measures that will always alienate some of the people if not all of them, you can't just be handing free candy to children and no taxes to the adults.

But i do agree the Democrats were useless and didn't help. But at the same time if the Rep don't get their shit together i don't see how this won't happen again and again...
