I have a question for you. As a short time trader I do not look any macro or larger patterns but now it seems that 4853-4855 seems to be some kind of pivot or something. Is there any reasons or explanations why?

Good morning guys! Have a question: 2 weeks in a row now every time the price is getting near to my entry point the spread rise from 2.5 to 7.5-9 pips very fast and im getting very annoyed, i cant even get in the trade. Its just my broker playing or anybody else have the same problem?

what is 2.5 pips in gold? How much dollar is the spread?

Gold and silver magrin currently tightening, the sell off could keep going, this is a good new for gold till 4k3 or even 3k8, just 1% for gold but it could be a big deal anyway, keep looking that it

Taken into consideration that the volatility has increased significantly in the last 2 weeks, I won't be surprised if this kind of thing happens ...You might want to compare with other brokers to see if your current broker is playing with you or not

For me the 2.5 pip spread is ok, the only problem is that a lots of time out of blue the spread is in the skies and its happening a lot of time, not just always when i want to open a trade but a lots of time when i see that the price getting near to my entry point. I have a pro account but thats even happening my ecn account too where is have to be a low spread.

2.5 pips leads to.., 0.01 position /1pips=10 cent.., 2.5pips=25 cent.., 9 pips=90 cent

my broker keep usually 3.5-4.., recently mostly 4.6-5.1-6..,

My suggestion is the broker Exness. Check out the Zero account. The spread is zero. The commission is 1.1. You only pay $11 in commission for each lot position. More importantly, it is price hunting. Dont try to guess, try to see what it given, price shown in chart just where price was in, might not currently, should looking for a good level, combine with multiple time frame for sure not a single one
OB and FVG is a fucking scam, it is a new name for one old thing happen for hundred years and the one who steal it doesn't understand it properly
