Area of resistance there at 5130-40, a lot of coiling of price going on there in a very unbalanced market. Short movement to upside had a bit of momentum (if it was on normal day) but for a day as today it wasn't fast enough to create even one imbalance signalling a weak move
The short upward london movement didn't even break it's own high so Since everyone is gambling today

I decided to do 0.01 lot SELL at 5135, TP Hit here at 5070.
Will not do this again.. not good for phychology tho I made sure to put lots of confluences behind it
For that am out for the week!

Might go to 5200 then drop to 4800
Might do whatever it like even go backwards for all I know

Short term bias still bearish
Long term bias bullish but I can only act on it if price gives the go-ahead!

IMO monthly candle may close below 4956 which is the midpoint. Price could close somewhere between 4850-5000 or even lower if 4950 breaks strongly. Upcoming data may clear the picture. Today is friday last day of the week and month so there were lot of chances for reversal as well and how much we can assume only.

Kinda feel like US traders will push it further down with the new Fed Chair announcement, who is typically more hawkish and therefore good for USD strenght. We might see an opportunity for a long soon though, we've seen how metals (and pretty much anything else) collapsed quite hard in the past 2 days.

The only way to trade NY London a big retracement and just buy otherwise you will stuck in traps and you will lose money .

Indeed, literally everybody started to talk about gold, even my mother. I was pretty shocked since she knows what I do, but never really speaks on this topic as she doesn’t understand anything. However, she started to see hundreds of quick short videos on instagram about gold, and asked me if she should invest in it as well

Gold is rising a lot thanks to the geopolitical state in the world. As for the correction that you mentioned, it’s pretty obvious that it will happen one day. Any instrument would face it, it’s just a matter of time. The price right now is overbought imho. I have gold positions from $3000, but didn’t sell yet. I’m waiting for the right moment.

Current gold probably won't care or correlate
Better yet trade another pair for ppi
That's what I will say
Or just say out and observe what kind of correlation it will exhibit

I have been on the sidelines which I’m super proud of. Usually in these conditions, I would have FOMO and would want to open a position or two but I’ve decide to observe and not do a thing. Made a decent profit for the week already and would hate to ruin my weekend haha
