...it causes pain because you are on the wrong side of it...yes they were calling for a drop and it could have dropped too . I trend trade - meaning i go with the PRICE flow...thinking its going to do this / that or other does not pay the bills ...not does what others are doing .....focus , learn to read the ( tape ) PRICE on 1 min - neat and you will not need anything else .

the next bigger drop will happen after touching 5000 there are alot of open sell orders on that level, but after passing 4950 weight be all free to head to 5k, what are your thoughts? just did a fresh entry, tight stop loss and off we go

if there’s one thing i have learnt from trading gold in the past 13 years it will be “always expect the unexpected” never rely on technical analysis specially lower TF trying to catch the high, always look at the bigger picture and before you analyse lower TF looking for opportunities to sell, wait for daily or weekly to give you a hint

your estimation seems close to mine, im looking at an area between 4985-5010 for the reversal, no plans to set a sell order, i need to see clear signs of weakness to start selling

Let's talk about bias in day trade....
I mention early that 4h need to break above specific price, i didn't gess, in fact i expect first tap lower.
What to do now... Respect the plan, it break bulls again in control.
My bias are based in probabilities, and are not 50/50, so for tomorrow i from neutral shift to bullish again.
Why neutral today but slightly bearish? NY! It break downside, 75% is mirrored, but doesn't not mean a shift, for that it need at least 2, but what happen yesterday? Break one, another reject... Please just go to charts (4H) is not a theory are facts and data that don't lie...
Canm we reverse at the open sharp? Yes we can, is the missing equation to everyone.... We can have good patterns but they never gonna be 100%...
As usual back to the open make my day and today clear prefer bullish... Why? Again NY! All my trades at the moment have Ny as pivot...

looking at the daily the bulls are in complete control my prediction for tommorow is asia pulls back a little but it doesnt need to pull back the momentum is great it might go straight up to 4986, and 5016 is on the way as it broke the upper fib channel trendline + the open interest is still very positive
