...there's a positive shift away from $$$ by Central Banks which is pushing it higher toward 5000 ( fib number ) where it will stall and retrace before it resumes towards 8000.

There was huge accumulation by banks and funds from 2019 to 2023 and now they target to push higher over 6000 levels they liquidate and get back to 3000 and push higher to 12000
But that is long term cycle
As of now the news acts as catalyst. Uncertainty is principal to drive the gold.
We here are chindi people, we have to beg for small moves rather target big moves....
Don't think too much use stoploss and trade

I’m so glad I was disciplined enough to stay away from trading the NY session today after making a decent amount during the UK session. After yesterday’s Greenland relief, I was so certain that we’ll be going under 4700. It’s literally impossible to predict when a deep correction will take place. Guess we just have to continue riding the wave till then and sorry to all that made losses today. Keep your heads up because better days are surely coming.

Something I've learned about gold is that it often causes pain. Often the market doesn't care about fundamentals or technical analyses like today, many of us thought it would drop. Obviously our opinions and thoughts doesn't move gold in any direction. I sold, so I am in pain too. Trying to learn from my mistake. Many of us are thinking "why is it going up, there is no reason". I'm trying to understand that and like I said, pain often causes better movements, liquitidy grabs, with further direction or reversal. Remember that I'm not speaking for everyone, many of you were also bullish and made nice profits, seriously good for you and congrats!!
I'm still learning and trying to understand the chart and try not to overthink it. I do technical analysis and actually, I don't know why I'm still surprised by todays movements?
