Done for the day, folks. Market’s messy, and that’s just gold being gold. Usually it only serves up one solid trade in the NY session. No point forcing it- better to pack it in and wait for tomorrow’s setups.

Momentum Check: The daily candle is screaming bullish strength buyers are clearly in control.

Micro Play: Expect some intraday sell pressure around $4733, but that’s more of a pause than a reversal.

Upside Target: If bulls hold, a quick retest of $4737 is on the table, with potential for fresh highs.

Risk Zone: The $4700 level is the real line in the sand. A close below there in NY session flips the bias short-term, limiting plays to scalp sells only.

Daily Gold Outlook (21-01-26)

Gold’s buy trend remains intact, but after the strong Asian session rally, I’m not chasing fresh highs in the New York session- even if the market tempts. My focus stays on reversal trades, just like yesterday.

Trend Context: Momentum is still bullish, but extended moves often invite profit-taking. That’s where reversals become attractive.

Strategy: Scalping reversals around intraday extremes makes sense-same playbook as yesterday, but with tighter discipline.

Levels to Watch:
Target: $4890 → still the upside magnet if buyers regain control.
Support: $4833 → critical line; if it holds, scalpers can lean on it for quick buys.
Risk Zone: A clean break below $4833 could flip sentiment short-term, so stops must be respected.

Don’t chase price discovery in NY after Asia’s big move. Let the market breathe, then fade the overreaction.

Daily Gold Outlook (22-01-26)

The Pre-NY session has been choppy and indecisive. A clean 1:1 sell scalping setup was available earlier from $4831--> $4822, but that move is already complete.
At this stage, the smarter play is patience: let the GDP and Unemployment Claims data hit the wires, and wait for the current H4 candle close before committing to fresh positions.
Bias: Neutral- no directional conviction until key data and candle confirmation.
Strategy: Stand aside, observe, and reassess after the H4 close.

Well, the market has chosen a buy scalping opportunity instead of a sell, which is interesting. However, I’m not aiming for the first price discovery on the buy side. Instead, I’m expecting a reversal buy trade.

The last H1 buy volume was really impressive; it clearly shows the strength of buyers. At this point, I’m expecting a buy reversal at a higher level.
