Europe weighs using trade ‘bazooka’ against the U.S. as Greenland crisis deepens....
- European countries are reportedly considering retaliatory tariffs and wider economic counter-measures against the U.S.
- This comes after President Donald Trump threatened regional economies with fresh export levies if they didn’t let him “buy” Greenland.
- Trump said eight European allies would face increasing tariffs, starting at 10% on Feb. 1 and rising to 25% on June 1, if a deal is not reached allowing the U.S, to buy the Arctic island.
