i think weekend gold is overeacting to this tariff news. 10% is not a big deal for europe. infact its good news ts not more than 10%. gold spiked late on friday because of martial law news on MLK day. there was no other reason

some stats for ES traders you might wanna know. The most Bullish period of the year is from Oct 27th to Jan 18th for the last 75yrs. only 9 of those years were bearish. So when this period does not do well (which this period hasnt. only up 1%). it generally leads to difficult market conditions for the year ahead

So be careful. we could just be pulling back to go up again but we also might getta deeper retrace b4 that

Gold is holding a bullish structure within a rising channel. Price recently swept liquidity near the 4550-45 support zone and reacted strongly from the ascending trendline indicating buyers are still active. As long as gold stays above 4545 the bias remains bullish with upside targets toward 4625-50 followed by 4700+ if momentum continues. A sustained break below 4545 would weaken the bullish outlook and open room for a deeper pullback.

Me too. I went heavily long ard 459x levels before Friday close by expecting some geopolitical tensions at weekend. My bet was on possible US attack to Iran despite recent softening signals by Trump. Also, Greenland issue was about to escalate sure. But, honestly, I was not expecting so much and so quick escalation with tariffs against EU.

Probably, I will book profits at market open if we open gap up as in seen at weekend prices. Then, focus on Silver. Recently, I became Silvercoholics Crazy and dangerous movements there. Man can get joy and misery in a quick way

Last Sunday GAP , 1 hr Bar Range . This is what i do if and when PRICE GAPS. Measure the range and extend it above the high for my targets of TP1 n TP2 .

guys here is my view on gold and dollar as a LEARNER so take my words as a grain of salt and please give your feedback
including a fundamental bias by hearing the terrif news gold seems to be surging up...fridays drop was really big but wasn't really effective and i my view it was just done so people can load their long positions ...

now what we can expect on monday : (we might open gap up ) we can go down and fill some of the previous 4h wick but thats unlikely as we might open gap up
but if we come down into 80 70 60 area i will look to go long
i already have long positions so i think it will be nice to see how the monday open and how the asia session plays out
