I was thinking the same.. I’m waiting for 30m to close above 4497 then I’ll buy the retracement as we head to 4560

Good morning or good afternoon everyone, today I finished my day with 2 reasonably good trades.

My account has been funded with 20k for 7 days, and today I will withdraw my balance.

I wanted to thank you all for your comments and help, even though this is only my second comment here on the forum, I always see and follow them all; there are great tips from everyone.

I'm very happy that in 7 days I managed to make a good amount of money for my living expenses.

Non-farm unfavourable, Unemployment Rate favourable. The former tilts the balance but Gold is still deciding where to go

Facts! But I doubt inflation will be higher that 2.8% - y/y & 0.3% - m/m. I won’t be surprised if CPI y/y remains at 2.7% or drop to 2.5% while CPI m/m will drop to 0.2%

Cos if you think about it December was festive period so a lot of businesses were on end of year sales & promotions to sell of their stock. February or March data release will promote likely see increase in CPI cos businesses will be restocking after New Year & have to get the goods from factory or import which includes tariffs

I think the former will win the price action over the latter in taking the price of gold upwards. What do you think ?

alot of people here on the fourum are technical traders but if anyone gambles fundamentals I would appreciate some tips....cuz i tried today and it was good
my profits are not like 3-4 figures so i guess its no good to post here

Close above 4480.615 should give a buy to 4503...

I have losses too, but is my trade for the news. Ignoring them and trade Ny pattern.


EDIT: Ignore my stop, it shouldn't be there but lower, was not here when come out, is about RR. And is the best i find to place also can be wrong....

This pattern can mitigate lower before complete.

Yeah, it looks bullish but it almost like the bulls are struggling to push price upwards & market is still not yet fully decided on what to do with the mixed data. They may remain range bound till CPI for even further clarity.

Personally, I don’t really think there would be further rate cuts in the upcoming FOMC meeting. Maybe the next one, but markets aren’t sure if to price cut in or not
