Here is the dashboard, as promised.
I ended up adding five parameters, which you can play around with.
Please note:
Obviously, the stricter the settings, the fewer signals you will see.
This setup is quite strict in itself. It also happens from time to time that there is practically no signal at all.
Unlike my usual dashboards, MTF signals are not expected here, as it is very rare for multiple TFs to generate signals for a single instrument.
About the parameters:
The indicator calculates the ATR for the given TF (this is the 100%), and the parameters use this as the basis for the calculation.
You can see the referenced numbering in the above images:
1.
The minimum size of the previous candle. This prevents candles that are too small from giving a signal.
2.
The minimum size of the previous candle's wick. This prevents us from wanting to "fill" a wick that is too small.
3.
The maximum allowable amount of movement that has already taken place within the wick. This prevents us from wanting to "fill" a wick that has already been filled previously.
4.
The minimum expected size of the current candle, i.e., the distance the price must travel in the opposite direction before turning back in the direction of the previous candle.
5.
The maximum permissible size of the current candle (important as long as the price moves in the opposite direction). If this is exceeded, there is no signal, because we do not expect the price to reverse back in the direction of the previous candle.

Created an indicator to represent my thoughts... arrow buy / sell is drawn on current candle if previous candle conditions met for a buy or sell setup.

green candle wants a clear top wick as that is what want to fill

and vice versa , red candle wants a bottom wick in order to be filled by next candle , the rest looks good i think , if you try this keep us informed of results please
