Monitoring my buy limit to make sure it’s not just a fake bull attempt and seeing 4340 again having a hard time
adjusted my buy limit to 4347

Trust me. Buy blindly if price drops below 4308. Accept the loss. Don't use stoploss order

Just putting this here before i pull a all nigher backtesting session.

for absolute GREEN lighting longs, wait for 4290-85. otherwise all will be scalps in my opinion.

Well I'm not a bot, but instead a newbie. And I've been checking Alien's post lately, and I have to say that the levels mentioned are usually good.
I understand that paper trading is completely different, no emotion, no psychology needed for that, but wouldn't it be good knowledge to gather anyway ? I mean if the mentioned key levels are correct and proven in a near future ? Even if it was paper trading, I feel like it wouldn't matter, I would just select the things I find useful, and apply them to my strategy. Since I'm just a neophyte in that domain, correct me if I'm wrong, but how would good entry and exit points be bad for us to learn ? The only two things that would make us lose money with a good strategy is either weak mental, just like I have unfortunately and still working on it, or the randomness of the market when perfectly sticking to your plan and still losing (No strategy is 100% WR).

Entry points are just arbitrary numbers so you can't "learn" from them. If I show you my strategy and show you only winning trades from it of course it will look good. Even a clock with no batteries is right twice a day. No one is going to be your trading saviour, especially not some paper trading guru. Do research, understand the market, understand the news, build your own strategy otherwise you'll lose money like 90% of people do.

I do agree that arbitrary numbers are irrelevant, but if an explanation for the numbers is provided like a liquidity pool, resistance or whatever, then is it still arbitrary ?
I like this clock analogy, I can't deny that haha ! But if no one is going to be my trading savior, then how the hell would I learn anything, I obviously started somewhere, there are some gurus for sure I won't even debate that, instead I couldn't agree more. Believe me when I say I've been doing research to understand what I see, to genuinely improve. To illustrate my idea, one of the traders I like on this forum is Forkstrader, I like his trades especially because those are trades I was inching to enter, but my weak mental wouldn't let me, and I don't need to know whether he's paper trading or not, I just want to see how good both his trade and his logic behind it are, so I can learn from them. This is what I've done for so many people here, reading and trying to understand their process to the best I could. You are making a very solid point, full of wisdom, so why couldn't it be the case for another person here ?
