In a jaw-dropping Truth Social rant, Trump claimed Venezuela is now “completely surrounded by the largest Armada ever assembled in the History of South America,” boasting that the “shock to them will be like nothing they have ever seen before.”
Why? Because Trump insists Venezuela must “return to the United States of America all of the Oil, Land, and other Assets that they previously stole from us.”
Stole from us?

Venezuela’s oil fields are suddenly American property now, according to Trump — a declaration so reckless it sounds ripped from the 19th-century playbook of imperial conquest.

He accused the Maduro government of using “stolen Oil Fields” to fund “Drug Terrorism, Human Trafficking, Murder, and Kidnapping,” then announced he has designated Venezuela a FOREIGN TERRORIST ORGANIZATION and ordered a “TOTAL AND COMPLETE BLOCKADE” of oil tankers going in and out of the country.

Trump didn’t stop there. He bragged that migrants allegedly sent by Venezuela during the “weak and inept Biden Administration” are being “returned… at a rapid pace,” before declaring that the U.S. will not allow a “Hostile Regime” to take “our Oil, Land, or any other Assets,” which he demands be returned “IMMEDIATELY.”
