I don’t see why it wouldn’t. Depending on input settings, you might have to use an extra zero or something but otherwise it should work.

Bitcoin Short Setup: Holding Sell from Friday, Seeing More Downside Before Long-Term Reversal:

-Entered sell limit Friday around $92k–93k zone. While everyone was calling buys and chasing the top, I saw clear downside.
Market consolidated Saturday, then dropped hard today (Sunday). Already +3-4% in profit and counting.
Not luck – pure technicals: broken supports, overbought RSI, volume on sells, bearish structure on higher TFs.
Target: $85k–$88k this week. Once hit, closing short and flipping long for the real bull run into 2026.
No financial advice, just sharing my trade. Who's with me on the short side? Or still holding bags from the top?

there are moments (5 -second decsions) when your target is only 5 pips, but it will never come !! fright moment!

No we disagree. You cant scalp with a "potential" trend only the actual trend.
Since your original post with zigzag chart 13 hours ago BTC has dropped 2.14% with no retrace.
So either you hanging onto longs because that is your "potential" trend or, you haven't traded. Either way that's not scalping.

My point is it is dangerous for scalpers to have a long term bias when they are trading short term (scalping). We all know the weekly, monthly trend is up.
It is interesting but has no relevance to placing a trade on a 5 minute chart to target 5 or even 10 pips.
IF:
the 1 minute is down trend
the 5 minute is down trend
the 10 minute is down trend
and the 60 minute is down trend

Then I'm looking for shorts in the direction of the actual trend in my relevant time frames. I have no way of knowing when the potential trend will start in the lower time frames and I need to make money in the current most likely direction. Trade whats in front of you.

lol..... why target worst case when you can target best case.
Highest probability trades are always with the trend, the relevant time frame trend, which for scalping in the true sense is never the h4 or daily or weekly trend

Its not my history its common sense, some basic research.
My history is meaningless and not relevant and if I did show, you would say fake.
I'm cautioning people who are scalping to ensure they don't take a long term bias which then either means they miss out on trades, or hold
losing trades too long because they are waiting for along term trend to kick in.

The definition scalping is:

Scalping is a hyper-short-term trading strategy where traders rapidly buy and sell assets (like stocks or forex) within seconds or minutes to profit from tiny price movements, executing many trades daily for small gains that accumulate into significant profits, relying on high liquidity, fast execution, and technical analysis. It's like "day trading on turbo mode," focusing on high volume and frequent, quick wins rather than holding for big price jumps.

Its not looking for trades only in the direction of the master (daily or weekly) trend

most of H4 candles was around 2800 pips .. from high tp low /
