These 3 mainly

Nova
EMA 50
Average Price Bars instead of candles. The original (synergy) with some minor modifications i made with AI.
These 2 just because I'm a bit lazy

Multi-Timeframe Trend Indicator TV
Protein+ an S & R indi created by cogalpha free on TV
Fair Value Gap - theres a few to choose from on TV

I imagine it's too much to ask if you could show us an image with a brief explanation, right? Nova gave me some very good results, but on the other hand, some very bad ones. Too random. Thanks in advance.

Short Entry was initiated based on:
M1 trend consistent with M15 and higher.
APB showed short
Price below ema and moving aggressively away.
Previous price action showed a squeeze and then break out.
Nova entry signal on M2
Price below ema and moving aggressively away.
Previous price action on m15 showed a squeeze.

Stayed in trade based on watching M2:
APB stay red, only changed blue when signal line on was still below 0
gap between ema and price action continued to widen

Closed trade after second blue AP bar closed and signal line steepened to the up side and good profit.

Normally like to hang on until bars change colour (completely) and signal line crosses, all on M2
will close early based on price action, good profit already there, or S & R reached , or other liquidity area etc

I dont use Nova exclusively, neither does the OP. Its about confluence with other tools, levels, trading session, htf bias and structure.
Nova for me is confidence to stay in a trade that I have entered for multiple reasons, or exiting quickly.

I have many trades that don't last long and im out for a loss or BE. had entered a short before this one that I closed again very quickly.
Win rate doesn't have to be that high if you are terminating the losing ones quickly.
For me Nova is not for blindly following every signal.....no indicator is....
I doubt an Algo/bot based purely on Nova would be profitable.

Nova signal,

Exit at $90k which should have some resistance.
took 2 entries before this that were small losses.
Signal line stayed below zero on nova the whole time
took 2 trades before this that were small losses

I'm still in the trenches, I took a break myself too, so I'm rusty in some ways, but I can confirm, Nova still works, although I use it on NQ (futures).

Right now, I feel that NQ punishes a lot if you take signals blindly so reading through the entire topic and using all the knowledge that's been shared so far is a MUST. Not just for using Nova, but for trading in general, this topic contains a lot of things I had trouble wrapping my head around for years because they're presented in such a simple form.

To anyone who hasn't dug in yet, seriously, do it as soon as you're able to, it'll be worth your time. Posts #1,665 and #1,667 about liquidity sweeps are especially important in my opinion.

Hey I appreciate that.

What you said is exactly what I've been trying to achieve for readers here. Trading isn't hard but you need to be aware of what happens every day. If you know for a fact that you'll be punched in the face at some point today then you'll want to avoid that and that is what I have been trying to do for many years.... Not make money.

So learning key things like liquidity sweeps and how trends change or even when price is ranging is essential. People think that they can actually blindly trade and it will work out in fact I need to reword that on first page as it's not realisitic to say... it might with nova but you need a good psyche to maintain the stress of it all.

The amount of times I've opened a trade and instantly closed at a loss I cant even count lol... but the crazy thing is that if I just stuck to my choice I'd have been profitable. Thats what people need to learn... the mind.

I've always said, as long as you understand market structure you cant go wrong. That alone can make you 10x better.

I will be posting my thoughts each day and what I'm seeing in the market... I'm not right all the time but the key is to have a system that is mathematically impossible to beat and once you have a system like that you don't mind the losses.

That is what Nova can do.

Well what was that today with gold... most boring day ever but do think price is going to keep going up as the dollar is trash.

Might have a dabble with some other pairs but my question to those using it... which instrument do you find Nova works great for?

It can be used on anything but I'm interested in knowing what they prefer.

Axecap has seen success with it on silver so might have a little play with that too.

I like how it works on DE40 (dax) index. But he's loving deceive MA's so you need to use market structure (I don't think you have a problem with that). Sometimes he's ranging, but if he goes it can be great

Want to show you all something because it was a classic liquidity grab.

I marked out 2 entries that would have been valid and you can see price was struggling to progress further.

The moving averages were starting to fan out albeit not very strongly.

For price to keep going it would have needed to take out that liquidity resting below where my yellow line is and then not long after we have price drop into that zone and instantly lose momentum.

Nova background was black during the liquidity grab and then not long after it took out that high on the far left.

It's just something to observe and happens all the time.

That is why quite often nova entries will not always work if the signal line is above the 0 level for an extended amount of time without there being some kind of pullback.

Thats why price moving into the emas first is a good thing... momentum is quite low at the moment but hopefully it gives you an idea of how the liquidity grabs occur.

Not every single signal needs to be taken, just the trademark pullback to the ema and first signal (first trade).

Hope this makes sense, I'm a little rusty from not explaining in so long but my brain sees it all the time lol

14RR from the past 4 or so hours - some of these I wouldn't have taken but just still again showing the power of Nova.

If M15 is bullish and signal is above 0 then I will focus on bullish only.

I'm not trying to be unrealistic here and I am not saying to take all of these trades but you can see it working.

You only need 1 win per day so I would be focussing on the very first trade for my single win and the rest I don't NEED.
