It looks your second trade nearly hit the target (perhaps +100 pips?) before going back and finally hit the SL. Didn't you manage your trade due to your busy work? How about using trailing SL if you cannot manage your trade?

Hi Justin,
There are so Many Options to choose from, but which Option produces the Best Return?
At the moment I only look to move my Stop as in the Second Long Trade in the image below

Everyone has to find a Method of Trading that makes sense to them.
It's no good trying to copy someone else.
It took me quite a long time to realise this, the sooner we realise it the sooner we can really start to Trade

Hi Steve,

Interesting work. Quick one for you, for a beginner trader, how would u describe your strategy? I see 5 mins is where your trading time frame is, but where do u identify your support resistance that u use to spot BoS?

I hope you eventually find the trading style you’ve been aiming for. Just a small piece of advice from a friend: make sure you’re clear about every step in your trading method — from the moment you start looking at the gold chart all the way to placing your buy or sell orders. Keep your mind organised and relaxed so your analysis doesn’t get clouded. This is just my perspective, it may not be perfect. Still, I always hope you stay happy with what you do, because at the end of the day, what we all want is a meaningful life surrounded by the people we love. Good luck, Steve.

Hi Bongo,
I look to Trade in line with 5 Min. Structure and aim for 1:2 Risk to Reward.
I use the 5 Min. Time Frame to Identify the Break of Structure (BoS) Points.
If the 5 Min Time Frame isn't clear to me I will look at the 30 Min. Time Frame to try to get more Clarity.
If you are new to Trading the firet thing I would do is find the Type of Trading you are most Comfortable with Scalping - Day Trading - Swing Trading - Long Term Investing.
A good place to start, for what ever method of Trading you adopt, is learning Price Structure there are a lot of YouTube Videos available to learn this.
Don't pay any money for courses most, if not all, of what they "Teach" will be available somewhere OnLine for FREE.
Make it your Priority to become an Independent Thinker in the World of Trading as soon as possible.

Thank you for the Advice it is much appreciated.
I admit I have jumped around quite a lot in my search for my Trading Style.
I think I have now got things under Control and have a Clear Vision on every Aspect of my Trading Plan.
As you say Trading has to fit into the Bigger Picture of our Lives
1 trader viewing now
