If he could get inflation down as fast as his approval rating, he would be up for a Noble Prize in economics. His approval rating tells the story of inflation. Jawboning inflation and bull shitting to the average joe that inflation is down isn’t working for him.

Sure, we will get 0% inflation when millions permanently lose their job to ai. Is everyone aware that CFO now stands for chief firing officer and CEO now stands for chief excuse officer when they have to make excuses for firing so many people.

Only way to significantly grow eps is to reduce costs, human employees are incredibly expensive.
