Of course, bad trades didn't help either; it just seems the only option is to never lose, and we know that isn't going to happen.

I have seen other props advertise "real time dashboard" so that appeals, I think it was LUCID?

There is a place in Tradeovate to find real time account liquidation level. Not sure exactly where though. Maybe someone can post.

It looks that it is absurdly expensive. 5k fee for 85k account. If you choose 10% drawdown, then your profit split is 50% and riskable asset (max drawdown) is 8500. There is no eval at least. Also, I see that there is one-time participation fee at FTMO for evals, but most Future Contracts based props like TFT offer you monthly subscription. This subscription is cheaper if you can pass eval at first month. Otherwise, with second/third month subscriptions fees, it become more costly. And to avoid it, you can try to be quick by taking more risk and so may return to where you started in short time. So, indeed, I liked one-time participation fee, you can take your time to pass eval. And it is also refundable when you pass and get first payout.

Lastly, at most Future Contracts based props like TFT, demand max drawdown around 3% or 5% of initial balance and it is mostly trailing until initial balance. At FTMO, max loss limit is higher (10% of initial balance) and also it seems that max loss limit is fixed at begin not trailing until initial balance. It means that you can increase max drawdown when you grow at positive side. That's also very nice. If you have 100k acc and gained 3k, then your max loss limit become 13k. But max daily loss as 5k is same always.

I am new in props world (not new in trading). I am not recommending any of them, just my observations.

Please make your own research before making any decision.

I think, I understand now why you are fan of 25k acc instead of 100k or 150k.

Profit Target/EOD Trailing Drawdown is growing from small acc to big acc. I thought that it was fixed for all acc size.

At 25k, p.target 1500 and max trailing loss 1500.
At 150k, p.target 9000 and max trailing loss 4500.

Damn it, so much difference, I couldn't realize it before. Even when you said 25k is the best. Anyway, for next accounts, I will consider small sizes. Also, max 3 contract for 25k and max 6 contract for 50k are quite enough imo even when your acc grows in the PRO+.

That was my thinking as well, why wouldn't all parameters scale at the same percentage across each size of account.

For instance, 50 is double 25, so the cost would be double as would the payout. Drawdown can be at the same percentage, and so on for each increment.

Just the last marketing attraction they have remaining, I guess.

1) Yes, it should be a kind of marketing strategy. When subscription fee considered, 150k can be seen as advantageous but demanding double profit of max dd make it much more difficult to pass. I checked some other firms and I saw similar advantegous acc offer at FundedNext futures. 50k acc offer has similar 1:1 (Target/DD) ratio.

2) Another thing is worth to mention. TFT has no Daily Max DD and its Max Trailing DD is stopping when it reached to initial balance and also no payout cap, therefore if you can pass the eval, you can grow your acc and reach to spacious Max DD numbers. And then, you can risk trading big size contracts to get crazy daily profits. This is not possible at most of other props as far as I see. They prevent you either by daily loss limit or payout cap or endless trailing max dd. So far, I could see similar thing only at FundedNext (futures) and at most of Phidias accounts. They look good alternatives indeed.

Although FTMO has nice static max dd, but they have also fixed daily loss limit like 5k for 100k acc which will be capping your growth potential in the future.
But, there are some forex props, Maven for example, who apply proportional daily loss limit like %5 of last day balance, that is better. At least, your daily loss limit grows with your balance.

Is TPT Paying, I have a payment approved, but was put on pending under the withdrawal, but nothing seem to happen.
My 1st. prop firm payout, hope it would go through, sad if it doesn’t. Do anyone have the same issue?

I only had the one payout, but yes, it takes a while, give it a few days with Christmas and all.

I hope to get stuck into again next year.

I've been trading with TPT for over a year now , I've tried many other prop firms , and currently TPT is one of my favorites , I also like the 25k accounts , since they are easy to pass and then you can easily get to a point of taking some payouts and then flipping that into more accounts , so far quite a few payouts with them, not any big ones yet , but working towards it , but my experience with them has been great so far.

I just did my first prop challenge ever and chose TPT. I am learning the space. Ended just below breakeven, making some mistakes with size. I will set-up another challenge in January, but this time, I will use my TradingView account for executions. On this next evaluation, I will be using the 1H to slow myself down a bit, on a 25k account. Watching the calendar for news will be vitally important, as a post in the thread shows the email message from TPT. Product of choice will be micro currency futures. I am glad this thread was started.
