They are sitting in the middle of Bollinger on M5 this retest is a classic "kopytko" setup. Once they pass the lows on M5, it will open the way for declines

I sell it too, but Asia extended is at 3986.
Is the reason why is better don't trade this days if i can not trade Ny.
I still can feel buyers, Asia can reach 4004, however if that happen i expect a test on 3986 level from 4004.

What about retracement how much level means from 3929 to 3978 is 50% retracement or still pending

For now is ok... As long that fvg holds.
Is where i close my trade.
Ny not validated a rotation, signaling that for now his low is protected.
Is the reason i insist there are buyers in the field also.

EDIT: Adjust my tp to 3951.50 this price may act as demand.

Presently looking at charts I am marking todays' pivot(3955) as primary support, closing of hourly candle below it, I will start entering sells with Target of 3900 for today, and may me 3860 for tomorrow.
Any break above 3983 will invite long positions for target of 4030 for today, keeping ADR in mind

Just to all have a notion why 3951 is important, reach is peak, is just check how those levels react...
That is a Ny rotation failed.
Tipical give 1 deviation, can give 2 like it did.
They bounce between each other breaking above 2 ( in my fibo is 3 )is a thing i would not like to see.
That candle was suposed be the mother to Ny rotate, it just simple had no follow thru.

Asia measures is another story but is align with 3.5 NY perfectly...
Above that we may be fighting against a strong trend for today.

3976 are matching in NY and Asia as extended, when overbought is not respect don't fight.

Morning all, good recovery for gold 4000 is the key battle area for the bulls to try. With US data later we could see a move to this weeks high if the data is red. 3930 seems to be the current support area which needs to crack for the bear to continue

H4 timeframe.
Gold is in consolidation following this channel.
This is telling me that we are not sure where gold is headed next in terms of the bigger picture.
But for now, its purely technical trading and I still believe it will follow this channel and move upwards to take out highs of 4000 and potentially also 4045 before any next move.
Stop loss currently at 3928 and an impulsive close below would lead to further sells.
