Glad had physiotherapy

Didn't manage my sell at London this time and get lucky, was by a few points stop didn't hit.
The trendline after all had meaning too.
Ny rotating tells how strong bears are... Not validated so.
Again only now can look to the charts.
I think i will stay out for 15 days, this schedule is making me rush decisions.
Have all good trades and safe ones guys!

these are the points if broken, price goes below, if not, price can kick up a bit. need to check price reactions on these areas. I'm holding two shorts from 3 days, 4027 and 4034. waiting for the right TP

By break usually i mean 30m candle close, but can vary depending on different timeframes

I’ve been holding my short since yesterday as well @ 4020 and another today from 3999 closed half at 3929 and holding 1 left

Price may/may not go down tomorrow (there is a chance) but the profit is in my pocket so I'm satisfied and able to take new trades tomorrow depending on the direction.

4h candles are stuck between 20 MA and 50 MA lines. We can see strong movement in either direction after decisively break one of them. It looks 51% bearish to me, but movement above 4030 may have also follow through until 4100s (near to 4h 100 MA). Daily chart looks more bearish to me. Daily chart looks even more bearish today, we can see 3850 soon. (I will not short but it looks quite bearish)

A few considerations:

1) USD Index is rising and EURUSD is falling. And it seems, USD increase will continue. Gold bearish. Reversal of run away from USD has accelarated, after China-US trade truce. USD devaluation after Trump's election was mainly due to tariff risks. After last week agreement with China (postponing the issues 1 year), it seems that market is decreasing bets against USD which was the case for a while even before agreement. Also, EU and UK economies were/are not in good shape in comparison to US.

2) Stock markets are falling (it may fall further due to prolonged US government shutdown). This may be causing the run for cash by institutional players. Less appetite for buying Gold or profit taking from existing long positions because maybe cash is king now.

3) New China taxes for Gold buying is maybe also negative effect for Gold https://businessam.be/china-komt-met...p-aankoop-goud

Looks bearish in the short term, but I'm not planning to short Gold. I will be watching, maybe some scalps only. There are many strong fundamental reasons to buy Gold in the long term, but it looks better to wait some more to buy from better places. Atmosphere is not good for the bulls.
